The Friend (English)

The Girl

She had long blonde hair that fell gracefully over her shoulders. The darkest eyes I had ever seen. A voice so pure as her inner.

Me: I love you, Jupiter.
Her: You are an idiot. A stupid crazy idiot. But I love you too.

I knew she didn't meant it in the way I did. I loved her. In the way of kissing each other in the rain, watching romantic movies together, watching her fall a sleep next to me. I loved the sound of her breathing fresh air, the sound she made when she laughed. The dimples in her cheeks when she smiled. I loved her in a way she would never love me, and that was the reason it was so hard to be with her. So hard to act like a friend, when in reality it felt like so much more.

Me: I am serious, Jupiter. I really love you.
Her: Stop joking. You know I have a boyfriend.

Ezra was a tall, handsome guy who always looked perfect in school pictures. He had short blonde hair and amazing cheekbones.

I had told her before, that I liked her in a different way, but everytime it seamed like she didn't took it seriously. Like I was telling a joke.

She had a perfect life, a perfect house, a perfect family, a perfect boyfriend. I was the only thing in her life that wasn't perfect. And I always felt special because of that. Because I wasn't like the others. I wasn't like her boyfriend. I was different. And that made me special. Maybe that was the reason why we we're friends.

Me: Why are we friends?
Her: Because I chose you to be my friend. Because I like the way you talk about stupid things, the way you listen to me when I talk about stupid things.
Me: So you don't think I am lame.

She said I wasn't, but I was almost sure she lied. Why would someone perfect as her, like someone non perfect like me.

Her: You are Destinee and that makes you special. You are you.

I couldn't hide my smile and blushed.

Her: You are blushing.

She smiled while she was saying these word. And the dimples appeared in her cheeks. She was so beautiful.
