The Star⭐️

That night Jupiter asked me to come over and watch the night sky, because, according to the news, there would be 85 falling stars within an hour.

We sat on her roof. It was cold but we had an blanket to keep us warm.

I could feel her leg against mine and it felt marvellous. The way her warmth floated throw my body was extraordinary.

Her: You know, when I was younger I was obsessed with stars and the planets.
Me: I remember. You had all those books about the universe. It was insane.

She looked up and sighed.

Her: I wanted to know what was up there. Some people see it as a massive dark place, with only air, but I don't see it that way. I feel it is fliled the most beautiful things. There are things out there, I know, we haven't discovered yet.
Me: And there is the nerd version of you. I must say, I have missed nerdy you.
Her: Oh shut up.

She laughed, took a pillow and smashed it in my face.

I pulled her away and started tickling her.

I knew she hated tickling.

Her: Look.

She pointed at the sky and I saw a small light falling down.

It was a star.

A falling star.

I let go of her.

Her: It is beautiful.

Her eyes smiled and she looked so genuinely joyful.

She closed her eyes and concentrated. After a few seconds she opened them.

Her: Go on. Close your eyes, and make a wish.

Would I really do that. Close my eyes, make a impossible wish and hope a star would make the impossible, possible. Was I supposed to have faith in a star?

Would the star made Jupiter love me?

But I knew I had nothing to lose.

So I closed my eyes.

And wished.

Wish that Jupiter would love me just as much as I loved her.

That she would realise that I was more than a friend.

Her: And? Did you made a wish.

I nodded.

She smiled and took my hand.

She looked me in the eyes and I melted.

Her: I hope for you, it will come true. Because you really deserve it.

But what she didn't knew was, that she was the only one who could make it happened.
