Itri's POV.

New Year's Eve, Evening.

I tell Shinichiro that I'll meet them at the Shinichiro Festival. Izana asks me where I'm going. I tell him that it's none of his business. He looks at me and realizes that I'm going to fetch Okamoto.

"Wooo, you going to pick up our future wife," said Izana in a teasing manner.

Mikey tells me that they all know that Okamoto and I will be married one day. I tell him that he doesn't know that. Emma says that I better marry Okamoto or else she will kill me. I ask her why she is so interested. Emma says that they are besties alongside Hina.

Shinichiro tells me that he hopes the best for me and that he is glad to see me happy. I tell him that it was thanks to them for taking me in where I had nowhere to go. Shinichiro smiled and said that he is grateful to have another brother in the family.

I go by Okamoto's house. This is going to be my first time meeting her grandmother. I knock at the door. Her grandmother opens. She greets me with a friendly smile. I nervously greet her back. She tells me to sit down on the couch while I wait for Okamoto.

Her grandmother tells me that Okamoto always smiles or blushes whenever she talks about you. "Wait, really?" I ask in confusion.

"Yes," she answered. "She has always talked about how you bring life to her in her every day," she explains. I'm amazed by this statement. Okamoto is never the type to express her true emotions to me.

I hear footsteps coming from above me. I see Okamoto all dress up beautifully. I think I am speechless since my mouth is not moving.

"Well, say something!" demanded Okamoto while blushing in embarrassment

I tell her that she looks perfect. I see her grandmother brought to tears seeing us together. She asks if she can take a picture of Okamoto and me. I agree to allow to take the picture.

We both smile awkwardly as her grandmother asks us to be uncomfortably close to each other. After that, I greet her grandmother goodbye and left with Okamoto for the night.
