CENTENNIAL HIGHWAY

Sam was talking on his cell phone and before he hangs up he says thank you to the person on the other end before closing his phone.

"All right. So, there's no one matching Dad at the hospital or morgue. So that's something, I guess." Sam stated.

Dean glances over at Sam, then back at the road. At a bridge ahead of them, there are two police cars and several officers.

"Check it out," Dean said, making Sam and Adryan lean forward for a closer look.

Dean pulls over and they take a long look before he turns off the engine. Dean opens the glove compartment and pulls out a box full of ID cards with his, Adryan and John's faces. He picks two out and grins at Sam, who just stares at him while Dean hands one back to Adryan.

"Let's go," Dean stated before they all got out of the car. Adryan, Dean and Sam walk up to the crime scene like they belong there.

"You fellas had another one like this just last month, didn't you?" Dean asked as they made it to the police. One of the officers looks up when Dean starts talking

"And who are you?" the officer asked before Dean flashes his badge.

"Federal marshals." Dean stated.

"You three are a little young for marshals, aren't you?" the officer said, making Dean laugh and Adryan glare at him.

"Thanks, that's awfully kind of you." Dean said with a smile, while Adryan went to the other side of the car.

"You did have another one just like this, correct?" Adryan asked, looking around the car.

"Yeah, that's right. About a mile up the road. There've been others before that." said the officer.

"So, this victim, you knew him?" Sam asked, making the officer nod.

"Town like this, everybody knows everybody." the officer remarked whose name was Jaffe.

Dean circles the car, looking around before looking up.

"Any connection between the victims, besides that they're all men?" Adryan asked.

"No. Not so far as we can tell." the officer replied.

"So what's the theory?" Sam questions as he and Adryan walks over to Dean.

"Honestly, we don't know. Serial murder? Kidnapping ring?" the officer said.

"Well, that is exactly the kind of crack police work I'd expect out of you guys." Dean remarked before both Adryan and Sam stomped on his feet.

"Thank you for your time." Sam said before they walk away.

The officer watches them go. Dean smacks both Adryan and Sam on the head.
