Audrey POV

"Hey Natalie,come on, we have to find Ronnie", he's probably in the main lab with Caitlin I said as I quickly walked through the halls that were filled with several scientists who were getting everything ready for the particle accelerator to be turned on.

"Hey just cause ya work here, and know your way around that doesn't mean you can leave me trapped in the hallway not knowing which direction to go"!Natalie retorted and I grabbed her hand and dragged her into the main lab. We walked over quietly to where our older brother and his Fiancée were talking and we hid outside the door.

"It's alright you two, we know your there" Caitlin said and I poked my head in.

"Hey Audrey, Natalie I thought you guys were headed to Starling to a friends house for a Christmas party"? Ronnie said eyeing us suspiciously.

That was our cover story so we could sneak here plus she brought her card so she could get in Natalie said motioning to the lanyard hanging out of my pocket, we used the west side door to avoid the reporters in the front. Natalie said smiling.

"Where's Cisco"? I asked Caitlin.

Are you finally ask him if he wants to go on a date because every time your here I see those stares across the room she said and I started to blush and Ronnie smiled.

Go ask him little sister said guiding me over to Cisco who had his tablet at hand standing over his computer. I stood frozen still not knowing where to start or even how to ask someone out because I had never been asked out even asked anyone.

"Cisco, Audrey has a question for you" and he pushed me forward a little and I stood there not exactly sure what to say.

I'll be right back I just want to tell Dr. Wells something quickly he said worriedly looking at his tablet.

Is everything okay I asked him. Yeah there's just a big storm rolling in he said as he started walking over to Wells.

"Dr. Wells we just got the latest weather update there's a big storm rolling in he said walking with him as he walked over to the monitor. We're not launching a space ship well be fine".Wells told him and I looked at him oddly wondering why he didn't he even care that it could cause a malfunction.

I sat down glaring at Cisco, he just sat down and started clicking away getting the accelerator ready. I just groaned and got up, wait, Audrey get back here Ronnie called out to me but I didn't listen and rushed out of the Lab.

I ran down the hallway and stopped and I sat down against the wall and I put my head between my knees staring out into space and I heard footsteps hoping it was ether Caitlin or Natalie right now I didn't want to talk to Cisco or Ronnie.

"Audrey its me Natalie" she said as she founded the corner. Hey sis she whispered softly and sat down next to me. I heard Ronnie call your name and you rushing out of there what happened she asked me.

"Not now Nat"! I whined getting annoyed with people that wanted me to tell them how I felt.

It's ok Ronnie's talking to Cisco, but when we go back in there you have to talk to Cisco she said putting her hand on my shoulder. I shrugged it off showing no emotion in my eyes, come on talk to me, you can't keep it all bottled up like this she begged me.

Fine, I said and we walked down the hall back into the lab and I headed towards the Lab and we stood next to Ronnie and Caitlin.

"Dr. Wells, the accelerator is primed and ready for particle injection Cisco announced proudly.Well, I feel I should say something profound like "one small step for man," but all I can think of to say is, I feel like I've waited for this day for centuries". He tapped the screen and the particle accelerator started whirring.
