Returning

Untitled Part 3

Here is Chapter 3 guys this was hard to write, sorry it's short but I promised an update. :)

   Jitters 

           Aubrey POV 

          I grabbed the hot chocolates on the counter to turn around to face Iris. "Hey Bekah, can I borrow your laptop for a few minutes, I need to print out a few things for Caitlin".

         "Sure it's in my bag" I told her and she walked off into the back room. Caitlin grabbed my arm and dragged me upstairs and sat me down.

         "I was at the mall getting Dr. Wells a present to cheer him up and I was confronted by a MetaHuman that could control fire, his head and hands burst into flames".

         "Are you okay"? I asked her concerned that she was injured.

      "  Noooo, she shook her head. It was Ronnie, he's alive the particle accelerator must have turned him into a MetaHuman also".

        I just stared at her not being able to believe that my brother had also survived the explosion.

        "Im going to find him and bring him back to the lab so we can help him how about you come along".

       " When does your shift end"? Caitlin asked me. "In a half an hour" I replied still wondering how him and I survived.

        Iris came up the stairs and put a couple papers on the table and handed me my bag.

        "Go ahead you look like you need a break, I'll cover the rear of your shift". Iris said smiling.

        "Thanks!" I said grabbing my bag and Caitlin and I headed towards star labs.

               Star Labs

       " Aubrey, Caitlin what ya doing in here" Cisco said smiling and he sat down next to us. 

        I got up and grabbed my bag with my uniform, and walked out and changed. I needed to punch something.

        I ran and climbed onto a roof and looked out and I saw several people jump off the roof. I ran over and used my silk to get down and I grabbed my swords.

       " Aubrey, you have broken the league Code that you swore you would stick to and we let you go because we thought you were capable, Now come back with us to Nanda Parbat so you can finish your training to become a full fledged assassin"! Nyssa yelled.

      "  I'm not going back" I said.

        "Then you leave me no choice". she said lurching toward with her sword. 

        Her sword sliced deep into my shoulder and I grunted. I dropped my swords and grabbed my bow and fired 3 arrows and killed assassins. I lurched forward and grabbed the sword attached to my quiver. Nyssa drove a dagger into my side and something made of fire fly into the alleyway and I blocked my face to see my big brother and Nyssa gone.

" Ronnie"? I asked him warily.

       " I'm not Ronnie" he said flying away. I held the knife in till I got to Star Labs.
