Confession

After coming home from school I sat at the dining table deep into thought when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Paul and smiled and he said, "Whats going on in that mind of yours Little Pup?" I looked down and played with my fingers and said, "I think my feelings for Embry are coming back and the reason I got with Mike was to get rid of those feelings." Paul looked at me and said, "As your best friends I will say this. Follow what your heart wants. Don't turn it down." I smiled at him and gave him a hug.

I was making a snack for the boys when they came back because Mama had to go get more groceries. I'll tell you what those boys will eat anything and its honestly disgusting. As I was finishing the snacks I felt warm hands on my waist and I pulled my earbuds out and saw Embry. My heart stopped when I looked into his eyes as he looked into mine and he started to lean down when I hear, "Piper! Where's the grub?"

I rolled my eyes in annoyance and grabbed the snacks but Embry got to them 1st and brought them out to the boys. I was near the counter looking at recipes since I'm giving Mama a week break from feeding the boys. I love Mama and so I decided to plan Papa and Mama and week trip with just them. Mama came home and was about to put the groceries up when I ran to her and said, "Don't you think about picking one thing up Mama." She looked at me and said, "Why?" I smiled and yelled, "Boys! Phase 1."

They all came in and started to put up the groceries perfectly and Mama looked impress then Papa came in and looked at the tribe confusingly. I grabbed their hands and saw Logan with suitcases and passports as well as tickets. They looked at us and was confused then I said, "Me and Logan have been planning a trip for a few months for y'all anniversary. We have it already planned too. Logan is gonna set up the patrols and make sure that they are doing things correctly. I am planning the meals and doing the groceries. Y'all will be leaving tomorrow morning and Logan has suitcases for you."

They looked at us happily and Mama said, "How did we get kids so wonderful as you?" She walked over to us and gave us kisses and walked over to Papa and grabbed his hands with the suitcases and they went upstairs and started to pack. While the boys finished and walked over to Logan to get their duties for the week. I went into the kitchen to make a picnic for my parents while making dinner for the boys.

"Do you want help?" I turned around and saw Embry and nodded as he came over and started helping me with the food. As I was thinking about what Paul said and that this was the moment that I would get my man. Or my heart broken and so I took a breathe and looked at Embry and said, "Embry for the longest time I can remember I have been in love with you. After you leaving my heart was broken and so I got with Mike. But when you came back those feelings came back and I want you to know that I love you Embry Call."

Embry smiled and came closer to me and put his hands on my waist and pulled my closer and said, "Im in love with you to Piper. Will you be my girlfriend?" I nodded and he gave me a kiss on the lips and I deepened it then we heard hooting and hollering and I knew they heard us and we walked out. I told the boys if they want to eat they had to help and let's just say this night was special.
