Embry's POV
I got to the Swan's house because they asked me to babysit Piper for their date tonight. When I got their Sue was still getting ready while Charlie was writing things down. He saw me and smiled and said, "This for coming on such short notice. I got this promotion at the station today and Sue wanted to celebrate it with a date." I chuckled and said, "Charlie. Ask me whenever you need me to Remember she is my imprint and I am willing to do anything just to be with her." He smiled then Sue came down with Piper and she smiled as I grabbed Piper and Sue said, "This Embry. Charlie gave you the instructions for her bedtime." I nodded and they headed off.
We went to her room and started to play with her toys and it was so much fun then I get a call on my phone and so I answer it.
Embry: Hello?
Sam: Yo, where are you. Don't you remember you have patrol tonight with Jake?
My eyes widened and I looked down at Piper and then said.
Embry: Sorry Sam. I totally forgot. I'm currently babysitting Piper for Charlie and Sue.
Sam: I give you a slide and take you place.
Embry: Thxs Sam. Your the best.
I hung up and Piper looked up and at me and said, "Emmy." My eyes widened and I said, "What did you say?" She looked at me and said, "EMMY!" Then I realize that I was her 1st word and so I picked her up and hugged her as she giggled. Then I looked at the time and saw that it was her bedtime and so I went downstairs to grab the paper and to follow exactly how it says.
1. She likes her milk and being cuddled
2. We sing her the Willow song from Hunger Games
3. We read her the Embry book which is the wolf story
4. We put her down and seat with her
I did what they said but she wouldn't fall asleep then I remember she likes my warmth and so I held her. She went asleep like that and so I put her down and covered her and headed downstairs then Sue and Charlie came in and were talking and I walked over to them. "Hey Embry how was Piper?" Charlie asked and I smiled and said, "She was good. Also she said her 1st name tonight and it was my name."
Charlie and Sue smiled and said, "Yay!" I chuckled then looked at the time and I said goodbye to them and I walked to my house and looked at Pipers room and couldn't wait to see her all grown up.
