Eri's The New Sky Arcobaleno

Chapter Five

Eri smacks Sarah on the head softly as she shouts, "Goose!" Eri runs around the seated people in a circle with Sarah following her, as the goal was to run two laps around the circle, before attempting to claim the gooses' seat. Although if the goose catches you in the chase, they can return to their seat, so Eri will have to choose again.

Well... she was not that fast, so she got caught yet again. So, she chooses Petra this time, whose eyes flashed green. Eri ran with the girl at her heels.

Even though she nearly caught her a couple of times, she was doing pretty well against her. After several attempts, she finally landed a seat. 

Petra starts choosing who the goose is.

"Duck, duck, duck..." Petra pats people's heads while she walks by, "goose!"

Petra runs with Irony following, easily stealing Irony's spot. Irony, maybe you should not run in a skirt... Then, just as Irony was about to start again, a loud boom caused the ground to shake violently. Clouds of dust and debris were blown our way.

Eri was snatched up before she could realize what had happened. Looking up at Sarah, she noticed her expression was filled with concern and fear. There was also a hard glint in her eyes too. 

As a result of her blurred vision, she only saw flashes of green, blue, yellow, and purple, moments before she was ushered into the underground storage unit, which was never used.

Eri watch the doors close before she was surrounded by darkness, her heart started beating faster, her breath was hastening, her head felt light...she fainted.

Outside, Irony pulls out bombs from her curly hair and with expert hands, a dozen heads exploded upon impact. She laughs as the blood splashed on her pink shirt and green leaf-patterned skirt. Time to go shopping, she says with a strange grin.

Petra curls into herself, green lightning erupting from the back of her armored hoodie, angrily, she spins into an electric ball, zooming and raming into the unsuspecting enemy, like a fired cannonball, leaving behind scrooch marks in her wake. She enjoys the electrified screams that reached her.

Sarah stood outside the storage unit, with her pens turning into blades, she stabs and chucks them at the mafioso coming her way, with a poised elegance attained with little effort. She never ceased writing on her clipboard, even if the words were painted in red...

Noel whistles seductive at the Mafiosi, while pulling down her scandalous fishnet dress, attracting low-quality men her way. Before they could attempt to ravage her, she moans in ecstasy, as their blood rained down on her. Men collapsed around the woman, with knives embedded in their foreheads and neck. With the woman never moving an inch. Her eyes flashed blue in pleasure.

Skull stood there in the midst of the battle with horrified eyes, screaming, "Demon women from hell!" 

Skull didn't sit there for long, as his loud voice attracted attention to him, he could just feel Sarah's disappointment somewhere. He summons his partner, Tako, a giant octopus that follows his every move, then buffs up his body, and launches himself that the incoming enemy. Tako takes care of the ones he couldn't see. 

The battle lasted for an hour at best, before the Tasso Familiglia retreated. Sarah made sure that they weren't bluffing their retreat by sending Petra after them. 

"Everyone else, clean up, we don't want Boss to witness all these dead bodies lying around," She said leaving no room for complaints. She turns around and checks on her little boss only to find her passed out on the ground, luckily with no injury to her head. She props Eri onto the wall and checks for any other injuries. None to report.

 She frowns, she had momentarily, forgotten about Eri's rational fear of the dark coming from her past. She won't forget again she'll make sure of it.

Eri woke up later to her guardians, surrounding her bed, where she learns about the attack, thinking about the game battlefield, with an excited voice, "we have to return fire since they fired at us."

"Understood, Boss," Sarah responds obediently, with the others minus Petra, who was on duty, though a select few had an unnerving smile that Eri couldn't see, "This will be fun!" she chirped.
