Sisters

Ashley's pov
Chris let me decorate my room with what I had and he told me that we would go and shop to get more stuff with Liv. I took out a picture frame with Liv and I when we were a bit younger. She was about 10 maybe? I was around the age 13. I placed the photo on my bedside table and took the identical one from my bag and walked to Liv's room to place the same one on her bedside table. After that, I went back to my new room and sat there thinking about everything until I hear Olivia's loud ass voice. I hear a knock at my door and I open it and see Scarlett standing there with a big smile. "Wanna join us?" She asks. "Yeah" I shut my light off and I start walking but she grabs hold of my hand which I don't mind. I don't know, there's something about her that makes her like a parental figure. You know what I mean?

Olivia's pov
I walk up the door and open it and see Chris walking downstairs. He looks sus. Anyways, Scarlett walks in behind me and shuts the door. She walks over to Chris and kisses his check. "Eww there's a child here!" I shout covering my eyes. They just laugh and I frown. "I'll be back" Scarlett said walking upstairs to do god knows what. I set my bags down and sit next to Chris at the kitchen island. "How was school?" He asks paying attention to me. "Fine" I mumble. I hear him sigh. "I know you like to act but the truth please" he says. "Ugh I wish Ashley was here so that she can help me with my stupid bullies" I put my head down on the counter. "What if I told you that she's here" Chris said and I look up at him. "What?" I'm confused.

I feel someone tap my shoulder but I know it wasn't Scarlett cause she was now standing in front of me on the side of the kitchen island. "Ahh fuck!" I quickly turn around, and punch whoever was behind me, in the stomach. "That's what I get?" It's Ashley! She's bent over holding on to her stomach. "Watch that language Olivia" Chris says. When he says my full name, it's either because he's mad at me or being serious about something. "Sorry" I stand up and help Ash up. "So you going to tell her the good news or do you want me too?" Scarlett said as she's eating an apple. "Tell me what?" Someone tell me right now.

"Okay, if you had to have a sister who would it be?" He asks me. What kind of question is that. "If I had to pick anyone...probably Ashley" I tell him and I see Scarlett smile. "Is that what you want?" Ashley sits down next to me now. "Yeah?" I look at her still confused. "Well that's what you got" Chris smiles at me. I just stare at him still not understanding. "Oh my god this is painful to watch. Liv, Chris has adopted Ashley so she's officially your sister!" She looks so happy saying that. "Shut the fuck up!" I look at Chris. "Sorry" I tell him and he nods. "So what your telling me is that Ash is my sister now? Like for real?" I ask them and they all nod.

I sit there with no emotions. "Why is she making that face?" Scarlett said getting a bit worried. "Liv?" Chris shakes me and I immediately jump in his arms thanking him. Then into Ashley's. Now let's not forget that she was sitting down on chair...I hug her and she almost fell off if it wasn't for Chris not catching her. "Yes! Finally" they laugh. We all talk about everything. I can't believe Ash is my sister now! God did really hear me praying at night. It then hit me. "Wait we have to go to the orphanage to get her stuff!" I say running to the door but Ash stops me. "You know that appointment I had at school?" She tells me and I nod. "Well it wasn't really an appointment. Chris picked me up and brought me there to pack my things" she says dragging me back. "And you couldn't have waited after school!?" I was shouting but I didn't mean it. "You left me to deal with those bullies!" I told her with tears in my eyes remembering what they told me. "I'm so sorry I won't leave you again okay?" She wipes my tears away and I nod. "Now what did they say this time?" I could see Scarlett and Chris standing there listening but I didn't care. "Um they said that my hair colour is ugly" I look down and I can tell that Ashley will literally walk out of this house and walk to Avery's. She did it before. And let's just say it didn't end well. For Avery. "Don't listen to them they are just jealous because they aren't as beautiful as you. Now remember that time I wanted to be like you so bad that I dyed my hair the same colour as yours and it didn't end well for me. That hair colour you have can only look good on some people and you rock it so the girls can shut their mouths before I have to sew it shut" she tells me and I laugh. "Don't forget you're a bad ass with that hair just like me" Scar says and I look at her weirdly. "When I'm Natasha of course" she says and see laugh. "Now do we have photos of Ashley with red hair?" Chris walks up to me and hugs me. "Oh yes I do!" I smirk and run upstairs to my room to find them. "Olivia don't you dare!" I hear her shout but I ignore her.

I find the pictures and run back downstairs and see her face turning red. "Why are you so annoying?" She says as I place the photos down on the counter. "Because I'm your sister and that's my job" I smile at her and she just rolls her eyes. "Oh my god. I didn't know it would look that bad" Scar says and I laugh so hard. I thought I was dying. "Oh come on it doesn't look that bad" Chris says but I knew he was lying. "Okay enough of this. Let's talk about you two" Ashley snatches the photos and looks over to Chris and Scarlett. Oh she knows too. The tension. "What do you mean?" Chris says and we roll you eyes. "Please this is embarrassing for you two" I tell them. "If you guys are really that blind..." Ash says and I continue. "Get a mirror and look at it and you will see two happy people who are madly in love with each other but won't confess their feelings" I tell them and stand up leaving them star struck. "It's true" Ash says and walks to my room with me.

Scarlett's pov
I wasn't shock that she said that. I knew it was coming sooner or later. They both left to go to their rooms and I was standing there not knowing what to say. "It's true Scar" I hear Chris say and I smile to myself like an idiot. "I know it's true and I feel the same" I tell him and he smiles. "Can I take you out tomorrow?" He looks at me waiting for my answer. "I'd love that" I tell him and he smiles. We talk for about an hour until it was the girls bed time. "I'll be back" he says but I just follow him upstairs.

Chris' pov
I check Liv's room but she isn't there so I check Ashley's room and I see them both fast asleep on her bed. "Cute" Scarlett shoves me aside and snaps a picture of them. "Wanna take Liv?" I ask Scar and she nods happily. This women. She loves kids. She walks over and picks Liv up easily and bring her to her room. I carefully sit on Ashley's bed and brush some of her hair out of her face and kiss her goodnight. I don't think she was fully asleep as she answered me. "Night Chris" she says and rolls over. I walk out and to Liv's room seeing Scar putting blankets on top of her. I quickly walk to her bed and bend down and kiss her head. Then I walk out and wait for Scar downstairs.

Olivia's pov
I hear someone say 'cute' but I ignore it. I'm so tired so I don't care. I then felt someone carry me out of the room. I felt soft hands and lavender so I knew it was Scarlett. Hmm that smell. It calms me. I then feel her bend over a little so that she could place me down but I just hang on to her for a bit. "Liv you have to let go" she tells me. "No. You're comfy" I tell her and she just laughs. "Want me to stay until you fall asleep?" She asks me and I nod my head letting her set me down. I feel blankets be put on top of me then someone kissing my head. It was Chris because he has a beard. I can tell he left the room and I felt Scar climb in bed next to me and I immediately clung onto her. I know she isn't my mother but I feel safe with her.

Scarlett's pov
I lay with Liv and she immediately clings onto me which I'm fine with. I stroke her hair and I hear her smell me. "Did you just smell me?" I ask her. She just nods. "You smell good and it calms me" she says with her eyes shut. "I'm glad it calms you" I tell her and kiss her head and wait for her to fall asleep.

10 minutes later

I look down and she's fast asleep so I carefully remove myself from her and go downstairs to find Chris. He's sitting on the couch watching something. Oh it's a football game. I am not surprised. "What took you so long?" He laughs and moves a pillow for me so I can sit next to him. "Your younger daughter is a teddy bear" I tell him and he just laughs. We then watch the football game. I actually don't mind it. During the game, I got a text from our director saying that we have to film early in the morning. So Chris is letting me stay over in the other guest room. After the game, we say goodnight to each other and go our own way.
