"I messed up on the pledge of allegiance." I said to Danai. "Don't worry. I don't think they would've cared anyways." I smiled and watched Danai go for her audition. My heart was beating fast and my hands were shaking. I could've aced it if I hadn't messed up. I've been saying it since I was five! Maybe I was nervous. I hope they didn't notice! When everyone was done with their audition we started to talk about random things, but in my head I was thinking, "what did I do?" I fumbled with my thumbs and walked into class.
