"Get me... out?"
"I thought I spoke clearly enough. That spell my stupid dad cast on you didn't take away your hearing, did it?"
"N-no. It didn't."
Nene spent the next few seconds wondering if that was sass or not and then stood up. "So... are you planning on doing it right here, right now?" she asked.
"No. This plan needs strategy. With enough, I know it'll work. Thanks to alien magic, I have enough power to get you guys out of this tight situation and out of my kingdom," the princess replied. "Also, call me Princess Cassandra. Don't abbreviate my name or forget the 'princess' in it. Do that, or don't refer to me at all," she demanded. Believe it or not, Cassandra asserted this smartness towards Nene only because she didn't want to be seen as soft or kind. As much as she hated to admit it, doing what she was about to do would practically make her both things.
Cassandra muttered something in another language and purple orbs of light formed at her hands. She shot them at Nene through her cell, causing her to squeak in surprise and examine herself, wondering what she had just been blasted with. Cassandra then grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of her cell, straight through the bars.
"Did you make me a ghost?!" Nene exclaimed.
"No, calm down. I need to get you out of here, and quick. You need a shower," Cassandra replied. She headed towards the door, and Nene was to follow her. She did so, sniffing her arm cautiously. They stopped right at the staircase that led to the exit of the dungeon. Nene wondered why they were staying still for longer than she thought they would and reached for the door. Cassandra smacked her wrist. "Halt, peasant filth. I have to create a diversion before you go out there."
"You could have just told me," Nene pouted, rubbing her stinging wrist. Cassandra stepped out and shut the door behind her.
"I have to break the contract between the old man and that village girl first..." she thought as she headed towards where Flacit was. She approached him. He noticed her.
"Hello, daughter!" he greeted. She gave a fake smile in response. "Did you choose what-oh," he said as she hugged him, tightening her grip around his waist. This caught him off guard, as his daughter never showed affection towards him. She wasn't. She was currently releasing a counter-spell on her father, undoing the spell that would make Nene die if he did.
After that, she had to undo the other spell he casted that would kill both Nene and Pico if they left the castle. That just took touching both of them with the cure. She ran back to Nene, flicked her on the forehead with the spell, then snuck up behind Pico and smacked him in the back of the head with it, running away as he turned around to see who did it. One step left. Get Pico, his village girl, and his guards out of the castle.

"So... what do you think is going to happen next?" Darnell asked Steve as they stood in one of Flacit's guest rooms. Steve sighed and shook his head.
"Not sure. I do know a lot will change. Probably not for the bet-"
"No it won't. Not if the girl who's hated that annoying gap-toothed ginger since she was 14 has anything to do with it," interrupted none other than Cassandra.
"Watch it, miss thing, that's our king you're talking abo-wait..." Darnell replied. He stared at Cassandra for a long time. "Aren't you..." he began.
"You're...!" Steve exclaimed.
"Breathtaking, I know," Cassandra finished sarcastically. "Now here's what we're gonna do..." The guards made way for her as she got in between them and explained the plan.
