I was at my desk, trying to get my work done (I have no fucking idea what people do at office jobs) when I suddenly felt so overwhelmed by the new work environment that I just had to take a break, I stood up and walked up to the desk beside me; I saw a bald looking guy working on (I just don't know) a task.
"Hey where's the break room?" I asked
"Didn't you see it when you came in?" The guy said, looking up from his computer.
"I look to the floor when I walk" I said, feeling very judged.
"Just go into the corridor and go right, and don't ever talk to me while I work or I'll report you to HR" He said, going back to his work.
'Rude' I thought, 'Who even is this HR person'
I decided to make my way to the break room, when I got there I came to the realization that.
"THERES NOT EVEN A CHAIR HERE" I yodeled, feeling flabbergastating.
"Who you yelling at?" A voice said behind me.
When I turned around I saw him, the handsomest guy I had ever seen before; He was tall, with short hair, eye bags, and the most constipated look on his face, and he was a gamer which makes everything even better. (Because of his hat, but I'm too lazy to add that to the description)
"You looking at me like I stole the chair" said the guy, looking annoyed.
"No! I was just... thinking" I thonk
"You are new aren't you? What's your name?" Said guy
"'Name is y/n" I sais.
"How do you even pronoun that?" He asked
"In" I explained
"Well my name is Josiah, my desk is at one of the corners if you need anything" He said
"I know how women have it hard when it comes to using their brains for a long time" he added, smiling.
"Thank you so much!" I said, 'A little misogynistic though' I thought
"Anyways I have to go back to my desk, I only came to grab a bottle of water" he explained, and then left the break room.
I just stood there, dumbfounded, 'Could this be the beginning of a work husband?'
He's a gamer so of course he has to be at least a little misogynistic <333
