Bonnie's Pov
Bonnie woke to a sunny day. Today was her birthday! And the day she became a trainer! She had made a plan with her brother that once she got her starter, she would be given Dedenne as a gift. Bonnie made her way downstairs, to where Clemont had made her some breakfast as their dad was off doing something. Clemont turned his head, waving to Bonnie, "Good morning, happy birthday little sister!" Smiled Bonnie's big brother. The young girl saw Dedenne squeak, "Dede!" Bonnie rushed over, hugging the antenna pokemon before she sat down.

After Breakfast and the party cause yes
Bonnie waved goodbye to the rest as Clemont and her went to the lab to get her Starters. Bonnie opened the door and stopped when she saw a dark blueish black haired boy, a green haired boy, and two blue haired girls in the lab. She hesitated a bit before she entered, standing next to the dark blueish black haired boy. Bonnie saw Professor Oak exit from the back with five pokeballs in hand. "Hello, you all want a starter I shall guess." Everybody nodded to Professor Oak's words. "Alright, I shall give you all your starters."
Professor Oak walked over to the two blue haired girls, handing them both pokeballs, the two girls called out, "Come on out!" Then, a Froakie and Sobble can out of their pokeballs, one sobbing and the other looking determined. "Wow! What are they?" Asked one of the blue haired girls. "Harper, the blue frog pokemon is Froakie and he is yours. The other one is Sobble, and it's yours Sarah." Spoke Professor Oak, picking up the two water type pokemon, meanwhile Bonnie was so determined to explain what Froakie was but she kept quiet.
The green haired boy spoke, "C-Come on out!" And a Fennekin appeared happily, "Fenn!" Exclaimed the fox pokemon. "What is that..?" Asked the boy, getting a smile from Professor Oak, "That, Wally, is a Fennekin." The boy known as Wally smiled nervously to the fox Pokemon, which looked excited. Next was the dark blueish black haired boy, "Come on out buddy!" And out came a treecko. Bonnie had looked up every starter before hand so she could know whatever Pokemon she got as a starter. "I know this pokemon, professor." Spoke the boy, getting a nod from Professor Oak, "Right you are, Max!" Said the professor. Bonnie now knew her rivals at least!
Finally Bonnie was up, she said with a smile, "Let's see you new friend!" And out came a.. mainly green Bulbasaur. She stood there, confused, before Professor Oak spoke, "That is a shiny, they are differently colored pokemon." Bonnie stared before she looked over at the professor, "Can I name Bulbasaur?" Professor Oak gave a nod, to which Bonnie said, "I'm naming you Plant."

Bonnie picked up Plant and smiled. Suddenly the professor said, "Now, I have another gift, a.. Pokedex but different." Bonnie lifted her head, looking at the professor curiously, when suddenly a flying pokedex with arms and such came out with four others following. "A Rotomdex Is what they are. I had asked Clemont and Professor Kukui to help me reprogram to fit each of you, and make sure they have the data of your starters!" Bonnie stared with excitement, before she turned to Clemont who had a smile on his face. Bonnie jumped back as she heard a camera snap. She turned around to see that it was one of the Rotomdexs. "Hello, trainer Bonnie! I am Rotomdex! I will accompany you and give you information on pokemon while helping you where it is needed!" Spoke the Rotomdex.
Bonnie stared for a moment before saying, "I'm not calling you Rotomdex, I'm going to call you Dex for short." The bulbasaur she held in her arms exclaimed, "Bulba!" As if agreeing. "Hm, alright! I cannot stop you anyway!" The rest seemed to run past, all but Max who just said, "We don't even have pokeballs, idiots!" Max seemed to notice Bonnie now and asked, "Why aren't you rushing out?" Bonnie was about to speak when suddenly, "Here are you twos Pokeballs." Bonnie was given four poke balls from Professor Oak who probably knew that she was going to be given Dedenne. Now, Clemont spoke, "Bonnie, here is Dedenne." And now, Bonnie was given Dedenne. She smiled and brought Dedenne out of its pokeball, Dedenne ran up onto her shoulder and Max than spoke, "How about we have a battle? Now that we're all set." Bonnie nodded, saying "Got it!" She dashed out of the lab to where there was a Pokemon battle thing made, and she got in position, pokeball in hand.
"Let's fight together, Dedenne!"

I wanted Bonnie to have a not so common starter but it being shiny and I think you get it!
