# Chapter Two: First Battle! #

Bonnie's Pov

"Let's fight together, Dedenne!" Bonnie called out, Dedenne came out of his pokeball, "Dede!" Squeaked the antenna Pokemon happily. Bonnie looked at her rival, Max, who called out, "Come on out, Treecko!" Out came the treecko, who exclaimed, "Tree! Treecko!" Bonnie looked excited, her first battle. Suddenly, Max called out, "Treecko, use bullet seed!" Small seeds like bullets started to head towards Dedenne, "Dodge, Dedenne!" Dedenne, luckily, was fast enough to dodge the small seeds. "Treecko! Use pound!" Max shouted, Bonnie realized too late that Dedenne had accidentally dodged past the seeds making it to where Max's Treecko was, but that also gave her an advantage. "Dedenne! Take the hit and then use Nuzzle!" Dedenne took the hit as Treecko shoved its whole self at Dedenne, knocking the Antenna Pokemon down, but Dedenne got back up, rushing over and nuzzling the cheek of the Treecko before it could do anything.

Bonnie was happy knowing that the Treecko was now paralyzed just but the electricity coming off it. "Take Dedenne out with Bullet Seed!" The small bullet like seeds started to hit Dedenne about five times. Dedenne rushed back, looking nearly ready to faint, with all his (Fourth wall breaking but I imagine Dedenne as a He/Him) bruises and such from being hit. Before Bonnie could say anything, Max shouted, "Now's our chance! Treecko use Bullet Seed Again!" Bonnie just froze as the seeds came at Dedenne, who stared in fear, dreading the defeat. The seeds hit Dedenne, taking out the Antenna Pokemon, "Dedenne!" Bonnie cried out, she dashed forward. "You gave it your all, best friend. Return." She spoke softly, the red glow from the pokeball returning the small Pokemon. Bonnie walked back to where she was, calling out, "Come and help me, Plant!" Then, the shiny bulbasaur came out of its pokeball, "Bulba!" Said Plant. Bonnie shouted, "Use Tackle, Plant!" The bulbasaur raced across to the Treecko, "Now! Use Pound, Treecko!" Max called out. Plant hit the Treecko with her (Yes, Plant is a female) body, knocking the Treecko back but not before being hit back by a pound from Treecko's fist(?)

Bonnie gritted her teeth, this fight was tough. "Plant, use Vine Whip!" Bonnie shouted. "Treecko, use Leafage!" Shouted Max. Two vines collided with leaves, sending both Pokemon back with a grunt. Max shouted, "Lets go! Use bullet seed!" "Tree! Treecko!" Exclaimed the Treecko, small seeds hitting Plant four times. "Plant! Use Tackle!" Plant nodded, exclaiming, "Saur!" Plant raced over to the Treecko. "Perfect. Treecko, use leafage!" Before Plant could reach the Wood Gecko Pokemon leaves knocked the bulbasaur back, "Pound!" Max said once again. And, just like that, Treecko hit Plant, making the bulbasaur faint.

Bonnie stood, hearing at Professor Oak said, "Bulbasaur is unable to battle, the victory goes to Max and Treecko." Bonnie rushed over to Plant, saying in a whisper as she grabbed the bulbasaur's pokeball, "You did amazing, Plant. You can rest now." Plant returned to her pokeball, as she looked up, she saw Max in front of her, "Hey, you did amazing. I didn't properly introduce, I'm Max Maple, and you?" Max said, he seemed generally happy after the fight, "Bonnie's the name." She said, a smile on her face now. Suddenly Professor Oak called, asking for them to come and heal up their teams which they obliged.
