Chapter 1: A Mother's Wish

I apologize for starting the chapter like this, but this is important.

It appears some people might be confused on who Kumiko is in relation to Ayanokouji Kiyotaka and her age. There were some situations or wording issues that may have led some to think differently than intended.

Kumiko is Ayanokouji Kiyotaka's mother and is in her early 40s.

Hope that clears any misconceptions some may have. Anyways on to the chapter!

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka POV

After reaching the front of the class, she stands and faces us.

"Hello, class 2-C. My name is Kumiko Ayanokouji. I am currently a new faculty member, and hope to get along with all of you. I specialize in teaching science related subjects such as biology, chemistry and others." stated Kumiko

(A/N: I wasn't sure what the other homeroom teachers taught, I know Chabashira-sensei teaches history, and Mashima-sensei teaches English. Don't know about the other two.)

Even before she had finished her statement, I could tell many people in the room were in utter disbelief as their mouths were open in shock. Several glances came my way, and many others were trying to confirm if they had heard the name right.

Others who didn't pay much attention, were just surprised how young she looked for a woman in her 40s. Many of these people were most likely thinking things that weren't pleasant or appropriate for the situation.

The class waited for her to finish before unleashing a swarm of questions to both her and me. Or at least that's what I had thought would happen. Instead I saw a lone hand being waved for attention, but it wasn't directed at me but rather this new teacher.

"Hmm? Yes, do you have a question?" asked Kumiko-sensei just before she was about to talk more about herself.

"Could I confirm something? You said your name was Kumiko Ayanokouji, correct?" questioned Yousuke

(A/N: I have decided to have Kiyotaka say Yousuke, and not Hirata.)

I see even Yousuke is shocked by what he had just heard and needed confirmation. It's understandable, this whole situation is bizarre.

Even if she hadn't said her name, there was a new teacher standing before us as if it were the first day of classes. She doesn't seem like a substitute for a current teacher, so how or rather why was she hired?

On top of her current job position, it was even more unusual and startling to hear her say she was apparently a part of my family.

Up until this point I have only known and seen my biological father, though I don't consider him as my father. There is a chance that this woman was sent by him, after Tsukishiro had failed. But why is it so straightforward? This would only bring attention that he wouldn't want.

"Yes, that's correct." replied Kumiko-sensei

"I see." stated Hirata before looking over at me and nodding as if saying "I understand now".

Wait, he doesn't think that this was the information I was referr-

"AYANOKOUJI, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU HAD A HOT MO- ..." yelled Ike

Sudo quickly punched Ike in the arm before he could finish his sentence.

"OW! What was that for Ken?"
