These are located in multiplayer servers or just made on a single player map. there's many DIFFRENT kinds but the most popular is hunger games or "survival games" as some people call it. my personal favorite is infected on "The chunk" server. it's games copied off gmod which means WHAT NOT TO LOVE :D especially when playing with your best friends :( sadly I have list mine but this is not about me :/ ANYWAYS it's just basically minigames on minecraft. you can find urls to some on the internet.
