CHAPTER 4

(Tony's pov)

I was flying as fast as I could to the nearest hospital. I had told May that Maddy was shot and she told me to tell her which hospital I'm taking her to. I landed in front of the ER entrance of Lenox Hill Hospital and stepped out of the suit still holding Maddy and ran into the ER "SOMEONE HELP ME I HAVE MULTIPLE GUNSHOT WOUNDS PLEASE HELP ME MY DAUGHTER IS BLEEDING!!!!!" I screamed and suddenly we were surrounded by nurses who took Maddy from my arms "Mr. Stark, will you follow us and tell us what happened?" a nurse asked me and I followed her and told her what happened and about Maddy being transgender. Soon the others arrived with Pepper and May and were brought to where I was pacing and waiting for an update on Maddy. "Tony what happened to Maddy?" Pep asked me. I stopped pacing and looked at Pepper "She got shot protecting Ned and Mj." I replied Pepper looked shocked. May was crying silent tears "Tony I can't lose her, she's all I have left." I hugged May and said "I know May I know." After about 30 minutes (an hour after I arrived) A doctor came in "The family of Madison Parker?" We all turned and looked at the young doctor "My name is Doctor Holly and I'm the surgeon who performed surgery on young Madison. She suffered four gunshot wounds to her body, two in her back just below her ribs, one in the left leg, and one in her right shoulder. We were able to remove the bullets from her body but she will be recovering for a while. She isn't allowed to do much of anything and she will need help changing clothes and bathing. She has been moved to room 802 on our Stark Medical Wing." Dr. Holly said. May started crying "Thank you so much Doctor."

(Loki's pov)

I was sitting in the hospital room of the young spider who Thor seems so fond of. "What is it about you that has my dear brother wrapped around your little finger and could I ever hope for your forgiveness young spider?" I mused out loud "Mr. Loki sir, I think that I remind Mr. Thor of you." said a weak voice. I turned and looked at the child laying in the bed. "What is your name, little spider?" I asked, the child smiled a small smile "Madison Parker but you can call me Maddy." I was confused. "Forgive me young one but you appear to be male not female." The child smiled at me and it made me feel warm inside. "I'm transgender Mr. Loki, which means I was born in the wrong body. I was born a guy but I knew from a young age that I was meant to be a female." Maddy said to me. "So when you were born, you were born in the wrong body?" I asked and the child nodded and smiled, "That's right." I sat there thinking "Mr. Loki?" Maddy asked me "Yes young one?" "Why did you attack New York in 2012?" I sighed "Would you believe me if I said I didn't want to attack Earth? Thor is very fond of Midgard or Earth. Contrary to what people think I love my brother and my family even though I am adopted. This guy who wanted something from Earth and he wanted me to get it so he threatened my family if I didn't do as he said which led to me invading Earth." I said. The child looked at me and smiled "Well in that case. I Forgive you Mr. Loki. Come give me a hug and make it mean something more than words." I was shocked but I got up and Hugged the child.

(Steve's pov)

I was standing outside when someone stood next to me. "Captain America, it is such an honor to meet you." This person said while acting as casually as possible "Thank you so much sir." I turned my head and saw a group of guys wearing HYDRA uniforms. "Oh you have to be kidding me." I muttered. The lead guy charged me and we engaged in a fist fight. He punched me across the face but I kicked him into one of his buddies "I need help out here now!" I yelled into my com unit "Steve what's happening?" Clint asked, "Hydra goons." I replied I blocked another punch from one of the guys and threw him over my shoulder and looked at the next guy and I rushed him and hit him in the chin with my knee "Where is The Winter Soldier?" One of the guys asked me I didn't answer the guy instead I threw him into a car and had a guy grab me from behind. "Tell me Cap, where is Barnes?" I headbutted the guy and felt his grip loosen so I kicked him into a trash can and I got hit with what felt like a metal pole. I went down to one knee and looked at the guys and saw that there were now about ten. Suddenly an arrow embedded itself into the chest of one of the guys and then I felt someone vault over me and I heard punches landing. So I looked up and saw Nat fighting the guys and I turned my head and looked at Clint who tossed me my shield "Thanks." I said and rejoined the fight helping Nat.

(Maddy's pov)

I sat there hugging Mr. Loki and I thought back to what he said. He pulled away after a few minutes "Thank you young Maddy I never thought I'd deserve forgiveness." Loki said. Before I could respond the door opened and I heard "Loki?!" I looked and saw that Loki looked scared and had his hands up "Mr. Stark wait he wasn't doing anything wrong, he came to talk and he needs help." I replied Mr. Stark looked at me and said "Explain now." So I did I told him what Mr. Loki said and Mr. Stark looked at me "I can tell you aren't lying to me which is a good thing but I don't know how the others will react to this especially Barton." he said Loki nodded and said "I will do anything to prove myself." Mr. Stark nodded his head

"NAT BeHIND YOU!" I shouted and threw my shield at the guy behind and then ran and punched him, knocking him out. I looked around and saw we had beat all the goons "Cap, Nat Barton get your asses up to Maddy's room and be prepared for a shock." Tony said to us over our comms. So we all ran up to Maddy's room and I heard Clint Draw an arrow "Tony what is he doing here?" Clint asked while pointing an arrow at Loki, "He's here because he needs our help Legolas now drop the bow or I'll make you." Stark said
