"i see y/n leaving with suna now," elaina told tendou over the phone. she was leaning against the wall while his other people were checking the backyard.
"good tell yama to guard the main car till i get back." she nodded, "right boss, can i ask you a question?" elaina asked hesitantly, "what is it elaina?"
"why are you so obsessed with this girl? you never stay with one girl for a long time and-"
"that's enough." he quickly cut her off scaring the girl. "don't ask a dumb ass question like that again. got it?" his tone turned cold—colder than normal. "yes sir." this only happens when something really bad happens or when someone asks about his family.
honestly, he didn't have a good relationship with his dad and he felt isolated from the rest of his family because of his father. yeah his dad is a multi millionaire with a very successful business but he was a terrible father that only pushed tendou and never accepted him when he tried his best.
so he stopped trying to please his dad and rebelled—he wanted to build his own business. he started to think about what he could sell or what kind of business he could create. then i hit him... one think that made him feel better.
drugs.
most people his age did all sorts of them, it was an easy business but hard to get into. eventually, he ran his entire town in under months. he became different, he wasn't the fun volleyball player that everyone loved and some looked up to anymore. tendou was a completly different person and it scared everyone around him.
everything changed for the worst, except [y/n].
[y/n] was the only one that accepted him for him even though she knew she needed to stay far away from him. if it wasn't for nylia introducing him she probably would've been in the same situation, that's how weak her mindset was.
back then, [y/n] was very gullible and easy to manipulate, she let tendou get her into dangerous situations with drugs and even let her do some of his dirty work. she was willing to do anything for him until she saw him and nylia together, it opened her eyes and made her realize he wasn't right for her and she deserved better.
little did she know tendou was madly in love with [y/n] from the moment he saw her, she was the prettiest girl he had ever seen. she was perfect in every way possible. he soon began to realize that he was so deeply in love with her to the point where he thought about her everyday.
that was a problem for him, he didn't want his enemies to know about her for safety reasons of course. if someone would've known they were together, who knows what they would do to her. all he wanted to do was keep her safe. that meant being more toxic and controlling, he needed to keep her safe and away from others.
tendou wanted [y/n] all to himself but he didn't want to admit to it. he would be distracted by thinking of his happy life with her in the future and it almost costed him his life.
he soon realized he couldn't make the same mistake but he couldn't break up with her either. that was too hard, so he decided to "cheat" on her with her best friend. they were never officially together, but everyone knew they had something going on.
deep down, he wanted to end his business and live a happy life with [y/n], but that would be difficult. letting her see him "cheating" was the only plan for him.
after thirty minutes passed, tendou found suna's car. he got out of his car taking his camera with him, he saw the car slightly moving back. tendou snapped a few pictures before someone pulled him back with enough force to push him to the ground.
"whatcha doing here, stranger."
kosaku said bending down on tendou's level, he tilted his head as riseki and akagi stood behind tendou making sure he wouldn't try to escape. he smirked in kosaku face, "getting fresh air, why are y'all here? to have a threesome with each other?"
"you got jokes huh?" kosaku said.
"i'm full of them."
