chapter 34

rin pov

after a while i felt yuki shuffling so i looked at him and he was waking up, i smiled when he let out a yawn and he stretched his arms out and i gently nudged his leg and he looked at me and gave me a tired smile "Hi" he croaked out and i said "Hi" with a smile.

"do you feel any better" i ask and he says "i still feel the same but not as bad" i nod and i suddenly remembered something "oh your mum's coming to collect you in half an hour" i say and he nods. Yuki sits up and he grabs the bottle of water i put there for him and he struggles to open it and he looks at me and i put my hand out and he hands me the bottle and i twist the lid off with no struggle and hand it back to him "i loosened it for you" i heard him mutter making me laugh.

yuki decides to get a shower and i grab him a spare pair of clothes that will fit him and i hand it to him and go wait downstairs while he has his shower.

after about 15 minutes yuki comes down wearing the clothes i gave him "Nice shower" i asked him as he came and sat next to me and he nodded. we just watched tv until a knock was heard on the door i i got up out of my seat and went to the door and opened it to reveal yuki's mother "oh hi Mrs iida" i say and she smiles at me and said "hi rin, is yuki here" i nod and she comes in and closes the door and i take her to the living room where yuki is sat watching tv.

he looks over at us and says "hi mum" his voice is quiet but it might be because his throat hurts "do you want a cough sweet" i ask him and he nods. i go into the kitchen and go to one if the cupboards and grab a packet of cough sweet and i take out of the packet and go back into the living room where yukis mum is sat next to him checking his forehead. i hand him the sweet muttering a "here you go" and he muttered a "Thank you" i nod and sit next to him and i take the empty wrapper out of his hand and place it on the side.

after 5 minutes yukis mother grabs his bag and yuki puts on his shoes, i follow them to the door and i tell yuki "i'll try and come round tomorrow if im not busy doing school work" yuki nods a small smile on his face. his mum opens the door and she goes to the car and puts his bag in the back and i walk over to yuki and give him a kiss on the cheek, and when i pull away his face is slightly red but i cant tell if it from his fever or he's blushing.

when yuki leaves i go over to where he was sitting and i grab the blanket and put it in the wash to wash off the germs. whilst thats washing i decided to clean the house i dont the kitchen, living room, bathroom and my room. when the blanket was done i put it outside since it is sunny so it can dry.

when everything was cleaned i sat on the sofa and watched tv till mum got home.

when mum got home i helped her make dinner and when i say that i mean i just cut a few vegetables since i cant cook to save my life, but when dinner was done we sat at the table and just ate and talked about today. "so how's yuki" she asks me and i nod "he's ok just still not feeling great" i say and mum give me a smile and says "he'll be alright" "i know" i say.

when we finished dinner i took mine and my mums plates and put them in the sink and started washing them up. when i finished i dried them and put it away and i sat on the sofa my head in my mum's lap as we watch a film she suggested.
