Gary-lee had targeted you griffin's girlfriend as a way of getting to him, he had two choices either join the roller boys or you his girlfriend gets punished for it, obviously he chose to protect you and join Gary-lee and his rollerboys to 'save' society from our so called parents as Gary-lee calls it this caused you and griffin to have a small argument about him joining them just to protect you.
"Griffin please don't do this i can protect myself, you don't have to join Gary-lee just because he threatened you of hurting me" i said to griffin
"Yes I do y/n, look I don't wanna you getting hurt and if that means me being a rollerboy to protect you and my brother damn even speedbagger, I want to protect you, I love you ok " griffin told me
He hugged me with such passion while stroking my hair, I broke the hug and I looked into his eyes and then I kissed him. "Ok griffin I trust you but please be careful ok I don't want to lose you ok" I said almost on the verge of tears.
