Travis was your next door neighbour, your bedroom window was opposite his, so you could basically see right through it. You were very close like best friends close but you wanted more than that. Since he met Tracey you had seen less of him, it was like he had forgotten you. As a few weeks went by it was like you were a ghost to him, you had called him nearly everyday sometimes it went straight to answer machine other times him mom would answer and tell you he was out or he couldn't come to the phone. It was like he was avoiding you. You decided to go over to his house and confront him about it. As you made your way over to his house you were thinking on what to say.
You knocked on his door and waited a few minutes until he answered the door. He looked at you in a guilt yet 'I don't want you here look'. You waited until for him to say something but realised he wouldn't. "Where have you been?" "Why haven't you picked up the phone when I call and why the hell have you been avoiding me?" You asked him angrily. He looked at you and instantly looked down "well I'm waiting" you said impatiently "look y/n I'm sorry Ive ignored you for the past few weeks but stuff has been going on" he told you  it even looking you in your eyes, you knew he was lying he just didn't want to admit he was with Tracey. "Stuff? You mean you've been with Tracey" you scoffed "I'm sorry ok, I've just been so caught up with her that-"
You didn't event let him finish in fact you finished the sentence off for him. "No I get it, you forgot about me, your best friend who loves you more in the world itself, who would do anything for you, Travis you literally pushed me away like all of our time together meant nothing, like I meant nothing. Do I even mean anything to you anymore?" You said almost in tears.
He finally looked at you fully this time and he looked more guilty than ever. "Y/n of course you mean everything to me, I haven't forgot about our time together, I love you, your my best friend in the whole world. Tell me what I can do to make it up to you" he said to me almost meaningfully. "There's nothing you can do, you've shown to me how much I mean to you, how I'm nothing, I think this friendship is over Travis" you said painfully, he watched you walk away, he watched his best friend who he loved walk away, Travis realised what he had done and he needed to fix it, and he was going to fix it.
