Traveling with Tanjiro

You and Tanjiro had met at a previous mission, you had to team up to go again a demon who was massive, of course, Tanjiro was the one to kill it. His trength overpowered yours which probably explained how he excelled through the ranks.

But here you are now, walking along a dirt path to your new destination, you have been walking for hours now and your legs are getting tired.

You and Tanjiro had ran out of topics to talk about so you are walking in an awkward silence. It isn't too bad as you both enjoy each others company but you want to talk to each other. You had grown fond of each other during the mission you met, which had grown more with the time you spent with each other at the Butterfly Mansion.

Tanjiro looks back at you, noticing that you are falling behind from exhaustion, "are you okay?" He asks you with a worried face and slows down to allow you to catch up.

You nod and tell him youre fine but he doesn't believe you, he's always been kind like that. He wants to let you rest your legs but you still have quite a distance to go until you get to your destination so he prefers you both to keep moving.

His eyesz light up with an idea so he makes his way to you and picks you up bridal style. Your face goes bright red as you hold onto his haori tight and look up at him. He smiles at you as he walks with you in his arms.

His body is warm and comfortable which makes you want to dig your face into him to be fully engulfed in the feeling. Yes, your bones still ache bit you don't let it ruin your experience. Tanjiro hums a soft tune as he holds you and the birds sing with him.

You slowly fall asleep, finding the senerio you are in relaxing, allowing you to sleep a comfortable sleep, probably your first in a while.
