I've been BINGE watching Jessica Jones and writing this story for the past week. Anyways, enjoy the first part of 'The Robot'.

Monica stared out the window of the Quinjet, preparing for what was about to happen. Now that she could finally think, the nightmare that she'd had in this very seat mere hours ago came back to her. She felt a chill run through her as she remembered the cold words of the Winter Soldier. "This is your fault, Agent, you led me to them."

Mr. Stark said they could stay at the compound with the Avengers, but what if Monica's bad luck decides to live there too; what if her past really does get led to them?

The Winter Soldier haunted the agent; he was ruthless, and had no remorse for what he did. When they made her fight him in the rings, Monica always walked away with several broken bones; she was lucky if he walked away with a bloody nose. His monotone expression and staring issue enhanced the fear she felt for him ten-fold.

The group unloaded from the vessel and as Monica hopped off, she glanced around. It looked like any other day, these poor people had no idea what was about to happen. She took a deep breath, looking over as Rogers was already barking orders at the team.

"The bridge is the main route out." Wanda explained to him as he nodded.

"We can cover the rest." Pietro added.

As Monica was trying to usher pedestrians out, with no luck, she caught Wanda controlling people and leading them out. "Lucky bitch." She groaned, wouldn't it be nice to be able to control someone's mind. Monica could always use her brain to lift them out... but that sounded a little creepy when she played the thought back to herself.

Once the authorities were informed and called an evacuation; getting people out was easy. Clumps of Sokovians followed her to exits and she ushered stragglers out. Cars were passing over the bridge, people were walking out in groups. They were doing well.

As Monica led another group to the bridge she caught up with Steve. "I got everyone I saw."

"Good, now help me usher them through; there are a lot of cars."

The two were starting to rush people through; the crowd was huge. People were clutching onto their families, people were running and cars were inching through. Then, the screaming erupted through the packed crowd. Ultron's robots were flying in every direction, soaring through the cool air. They were clawing out of the ground, crashing through the water and into the air.

"Shit... everyone go! Now!" Monica yelled as people jumped out of their cars and everyone began running across the bridge.

Robots were landing on the bridge and Monica was destroying the ones coming at her. She pushed her arm in the air, the telekinetic glow wrapping around the robot and ripped one in half before jamming the pieces into two beside it.

One flew over head, directed at Steve, who was faced away. "Rogers! Behind you!"

In a second, he spun around and the shield went clean through and right at her. Catching it, Monica jumped onto one of the abandoned cars and launched herself onto a robot's back. She wrapped her legs around it, jamming the metal into the robot's head and landing into a crouched position when it landed on the ground.

"Why is this thing so light?" She threw it back to him as he shrugged. Not too long after a robot came flying at her, taking the girl with it. "God dammit!"

It had a grip on Monica's neck and she was struggling against it. She was choking in air, barely able to breathe as she finally managed to make it explode and fell onto the ground before she could catch myself. She groaned in pain.
