I'll be there!!

Beginning

Ayaan lives in a nice neighborhood, he is preparing himself for his 12th board exam. He has a sister who is three years older and goes to a prestigious college, His dad is a doctor and mom owns a beauty salon. Ayaan is a bright student and loves sports, like any typical teenager he loves playing games, hanging out with friends and ofcourse showing interest in girls. But ofcourse he is a tall lanky guy preparing for 12th board so obviously he doesn't have much time for girls also he liked a girl and waited two years to tell her about his feelings but the girl graduated 12 standard as he was in 11th standard. Yes his heart broke but then it took him few sad movies and few sad songs to get over the girl.
Ayaan still had another five months for his board exam, during that time a new neighbor came to their society. They seemed to be nice people, the uncle is an army officer and aunty is a school teacher. The next door neighbor sold the house so this new family bought it, before this they lived close by but that house wasn't big so they sold that house and bought the new one.
Ayaan and some other kids were playing cricket in the society playground as this new family was moving in, suddenly Ayaan's eyes fell on this pretty looking girl in jeans and a pink top, nice silky hair which fell on her face as she was carrying a big box.
Ayaan went running.
A:: here let me help you with that
P:: oh how sweet thank you so much!! That is so heavy, God know what my mom packed in there.
A:: no problem I can help..
P:: oh my God!! I'm sorry I didn't even think what I'm doing, it was just so heavy that I have it to you without thinking
A:: no no don't worry, it's okay, it's not even that heavy.
P:: are you sure?
A:: yes!! So you guys bought this house?
P:: yea, it's a nice place even though I'm going to miss my old house but it's okay it's only fifteen minutes drive.
A:: oh I didn't introduce myself, I'm Ayaan and I'm your next door neighbor. I mean this White House...
P:: oh wow that's nice.
A:: and....
P:: and?
A:: I mean you are?
P:: oh I'm Pooja.
A:: nice to meet you Pooja.
Pooja's mom Poonam:: Pooja where are you?
P:: maa Im with Ayaan
Poo am:: what? Who?
A:: hello aunty!! I am Ayaan your neighbor.
Poo:: oh are you Dr. Kapoor's son?
A:: yes yes.. you know him?
Poo:: no I don't know but the agent who sold this house told us that our neighbor is a heart specialist.
A:: oh ok... aunty if you need help I can call my friends we can all help you.
Poo:: how sweet.... You are such a good boy.. that will be great help...
Ayaan went running to his friends and the friends happily came to help, they are anyway good kids and very helpful to everyone but this time the case was little different. Ayaan's friends wanted to help Ayaan impress the new girl in the block. Soon His sister Ananya also came and introduced herself, she and Pooja clicked right away, Ayaan's mom Anu made some pasta for them as they were just moving so Any told them not to order food as they are already busy moving things. The previous owner lived abroad and they would come once in a while so now they were very happy to have neighbors who would actually live there.
Ananya was happy to see a girl coz most of the kids in the neighborhood are boys or girls who are much younger than her or married. Pooja was two years younger than Ananya and the best part was she was majoring in finance like Ananya but she was in first year and in a different college.
Later at night Ayaan's family was talking about the new family, they really liked them, somehow Ayaan liked them little more than everyone else. On the other side Pooja's family was very happy to have such good neighbors also they were happy that Pooja already made friends with Ananya.
Next day Pooja was going to college and saw Ayaan missed his school bus, she beeped on him and he turned and ofcourse to his eyes it felt like an Angel came down wearing white and now riding a red scooty.
P:: hey Ayaan good morning
A:: yea... not really good morning. I missed my bus and now NiaDi will have to drop me.
P:: NiaDi?
A:: I call Ananya Di NiaDi.
P:: yea I saw your school bus left before you even came out. Anyway your school is on my way to college I can drop you.
A:: no it's okay, NiaDi will drop me
P:: hey it's okay I have to cross your school anyway so I can drop you and you sister's college is on the other side. And don't worry I might be a new driver but I'm very good.
A:: I'm sure you are. Okay thanks Pooja.
P:: but in one condition, you have to let me play cricket with you guys
A:: ok sure (he smiled all the way to his school)
During the ride they talked about school and their subjects and interests.
P:: hey I just passed last year if you need any help for your exam let me know, I still have notes and everything from last year.
A:: thanks.. Pooja did you finish your boards early? (Hoping and wishing that she is same age as him)
P:: I don't think so, I became 18 this year July 10 after my 12th. You?
A::(sadly) I will be 18 next year March 10
P:: oh so that means I'm 8 months older than you.
She dropped him in school and Ayaan walked inside the school and showed off a bit that a beautiful girl dropped him but when he told his friends about the age difference they said nowadays these things don't matter, didn't you see Saif Ali Khan Married Amrita Singh and they are happily married that's what friends told him. Oh yes they were already thinking of marriage and kids.
As times passed both the families became very close, Pooja was more like family now and Vice verse. It's been already little more than three years and Ananya was getting married to her long time boyfriend. She finished her masters and the boy lived in America and had a very good job so parents didn't have any problem with it. During the wedding they practiced dance together, Pooja was always Ayaan's partner for almost everything, in fact they looked pretty cute.
After the wedding Ananya was settling in America so Ayaan became very lonely, so Pooja always gave him company.
Time flew and soon Pooja finished her masters and Ayaan finished his Software engineering.
After he passed out he went to America on vacation and also his sister just had a baby girl so the whole family was visiting the sister. Ayaan's family came back after three months and Poonam was very happy to see them back. She happily came with sweets to their house.
Poo:: Anu what a good timing, I'm glad you guys are back. I have a good news
Anu:: good news?
Poo:: Anu, pooja is getting married, we found the perfect groom for her. She will be so happy I know that.
Anu was so happy for them she congratulated her and said is there to help with anything they need. Ayaan wasn't home that time but when he came he saw sweets and asked who got them so she told him Pooja is getting married. That was the biggest blow for Ayaan, he couldn't believe what he heard. He had no clue heartbreak could be this painful. He started avoiding Pooja as much as he could and on the other side Pooja's family was getting ready for the wedding, even Pooja is happy with this alliance, but ofcourse she noticed Ayaan wasn't coming to their house. As the wedding was coming close Anu made some food and asked Ayaan to carry the big bowl for her he had no choice but to go there.
P:: oh my god!! Ayaan?? I haven't seen you forever. What's wrong with you? Here I'm getting married and you didn't even congratulate me?
A:: congratulations
P:: are you serious? Is this how you congratulate me? Here I'm looking for my best dancer so that we can defeat the grooms side and you are not there.
A:: I won't be able to dance
P:: what why?
A:: I don't have my partner anymore
P:: so what... I'll find you a new partner. I have many pretty cousins you can dance with them
A:: no I don't want to
P:: but why?
A:: I just don't want to
Anu:: Ayaan why you being stubborn, she is asking so nicely.
A:: Maa I said I won't dance please don't force me, in fact I won't even come for the wedding
Everyone was shocked with Ayaan's behavior.
P:: what? You won't come for my wedding? Why Ayaan?
A:: because...... because Pooja, I love you and I loved you from day one.... I just couldn't say it.
Ayaan walked out leaving everyone shocked and making the situation pretty awkward. Pooja was beyond shocked and didn't actually know how to feel about it.
Soon Pooja got married and shifted to Delhi and Ayaan moved to America....
