The First Love

Dianne's POV:

Elliot has grown up so much he turned 7 a few days ago and is loving everything about school at the moment 'touch wood' Y/N has been a lot more distant lately she has been spacing out a lot, so I decided that just her and I were going to have a girl's day while Joe took Elliot with him to the golf course. I walked into Y/N's room to see her staring at her phone.

"Hey Y/N/N (your nickname) I was wondering if you wanted to come with me for a day out at the mall, dad is taking Elliot to the golf course so I thought we could have a girl's day, you know buy some clothes, get our hair done and have our nails painted." I looked at her as she slowly took her eyes of her phone and looked at me with a slight smile on her face.

"Yeah, sure sounds fun." She said before turning her phone off and getting off her bed walking towards her dresser to grab her bag. She walked over to her nightstand and grabbed her vlogging camera too ready to film for her channel since she took after Joe.

"How about no cameras just for today." I said looking her in the eyes, she looked back at me and sighed before putting it back and walking out the room.

Y/N's POV:

Mum and I had been out for a while we had bags of new clothes and shoes and had gotten our hair done when we went to have lunch, we sat down at a table in the cafeteria talking about how school was and who mum knew was going to be on the next series of Strictly. We were having a great time laughing about embarrassing moments that had happened when dad was on strictly and the worst thing that had happened while they were touring for the live tour, when I saw him the world stopped and for a moment it was just him and I in the room then he turned around locking eyes with me smiling has he waved before turning around again to talk to the others in the group. Mum turned to see what I was looking at before looking back at me again with a smile on her face.

"Do you like Tyler?" she asked smiling even wider. I dropped my head in shame knowing all too well I had just given mum her answer. When I looked up again, she smiled at me.

"Are you going to go talk to him then." She asked I looked at her in shook shaking my head.

"No no no no it will ruin everything if I tell him I like him, he is my best friend." I placed my head in my hands no embarrassed by the situation when mum started talking about how hard it was for her to tell dad about her feelings because she felt is if they had been friends for years, she explained how she worked up to courage and told him knowing that if he said he felt the same way then she would be happy but if he didn't she was just lucky to have him as her friend. I looked at my mum nodding and got up to go and talk to Tyler, once I got there, I pulled him aside to talk to him.

"so um Tyler there is something I need to tell you." I started losing my focus staring into his eyes.

"I have something to tell you to Y/N/N I want you to meet my girlfriend Cassie"
