At the house

When Derek woke up after about a minute. He immediately saw the drag marks in the blood. He could take a guess on who it was because Reid is nowhere to be seen. He got up and started to look around. He immediately saw the guards were unconscious. "Reid, Reid, REID, REID???" he shouted, seeing if he was still there. He looked around the house to see if Reid or the kidnapper left any clue to which way they went. When he found nothing he tried calling Hotch. "Hello, this is Agent Hotchner. I am busy right now so please leave a message after the beep.""Hotch, I don't know why you aren't answering your phone because you should always answer it. Reid has been taken. The unsub hit me in the head, knocked out all the guards, and possibly shot Reid before he took him."After he called Hotch he immediately called 911 and told them that a federal agent was down and get the police over there.

At the BAU

Gideon was waiting in his office for Hotch so they could talk about his decision to add Reid to the team. He honestly thought it was a great idea, Reid just needed some training and he would be fine.

"Hello Gideon, glad you could make it." Hotch said. He sat down thinking of what he was going to say to Gideon.

"Well we both know why you are here. It is because you think Spencer is too young and not experienced enough. Right, Hotch?" Gideon questioned.

Hotch was actually getting really nervous because when Gideon gets angry he gets angry. "It is obvious the kid is brilliant, but he has basically no experience with the actual stuff. I would want him on my team if he had just a little more experience but I don't see how it can work since he can barely shoot his gun." Hotch said.

Gideon positioned himself in the chair so he could look Hotch in the eye. "I trust that this is the best place for him to get experience amd potentially have a long carrier. He may be young but he has a sharp mind and can detect things that we can't. We need him on our team and that's final." Gideon demanded. He got up and left knowing that he won the argument.

Hotch picked up Reid's file and went to his office to check if he got any mail or voicemails.
