Harriette glared at her little siblings after the fight with their father.
"Fucking hell..." she sissed.
"Just let me help you with your wound." Harry said and he took the wett cloth which Cj brought.
"Here..." Harry mumbled and he put it on his sister's wound.
Harriette jerked her head away and she glared at him.
"Back off!" she yelled and Cj flinched.
"Hettie, the wound's only gonna get worse if-"
"My eye is already lost anyway. I can only see through my other eye. So screw that wound." she sissed and Cj looked at Harriette.
"I told Harry to help you out... instead of helping me..." she said with a soft voice and her older sister looked at her.
"It's fine Cj... I'd rather be hurt then either of you has to be in pain."

"But it's not fair for you two!" Cj said. Harriette sighed.
"Since when have villains been fair?"
"Go to your room, Cj." Harry said.
"Why?" She asked angrily.
"Because I said so!" Harry snapped.
"That's not a reason!" Cj said.
"Cj," Harriette cut in. "Go. Now."
"Why?"
"You're too young to hear this."
Cj huffed but turned to leave to her room. But, she hid herself, ready to eavesdrop.

"What the hell is wrong with you?! You can't just snap at Cj like that!" Harriette said with anger to her little brother.
"Oh but you get to snap at both of us?!"
"I'm protecting both of you for as much as I can, all you do is causing trouble!"
"Oh really?! Because now I can tell how much you are like dad, never blamed yourself! You... you..."
"Don't. You. Dare!"
"You bitch-!"
Then Harriette slapped her brother in the face, Cj gasped softly and Harry look at her sister.
"See? Just like dad..." he mumbled as he walked to his room.

Cj was horrified as she walked up to her room, tears in her eyes. Hettie, the same person who protected her and Harry. It was unbelievable that Hettie would do something like that.

Harriette fell down on the floor and held her head in her hands. What had she done? Harry was right after all. She was like father. Cj and Harry deserves better. Much better.

The next day was quiet in the Hook house.
Captain Hook didn't return yet and all three siblings were avoiding eachother... Well more like Harry and Harriette avoiding eachother.
The youngest Hook was stuck on the middle.
She had to pretend that she didn't know what happend, but if they knew her well... They knew she was eavesdropping.

Cj got up from her bed and walked over to her brother's room, well she stoppwd in front of the door.
"Psst... Harry. Are you awake?" she said softly and the door cracked open.
"Hey Cj..." he mumbled, he had a huge red spot on his cheek and his little sister hugged him immediately.

"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing." She said. "I just wanted a hug."
"Oh, that's really it?"
"Yeah. Nothing else."
"Right..."
"Why does it sound like you don't believe me?" She pouted.
"That's because I don't." He tried to grin but winced as the wound stung.
"Anyway..."

"What...?" Cj asked with curiosity.
"You know what happend last night, don't you?"
Cj didn't say a thing and Harry lifted her chin gently.
"Don't you?" he repeated and Cj looked at the red spot on her brother's cheek.
"Yea... I saw how Harriette slapped you." she admitted softly and Harry bend through his knees to be on eye level with his younger sister.
"Cj, you were supposed to go to your room..."
"You honestly thought I would? Come on!"
"Cj, listen to me. Harriette might've slapped me but I said things which I should've not said..."
"You only said the truth... for as far as I recall."
"Don't. Harriette's not like... dad."
"She is. You said it yourself, she never blames herself but she does protect us. If we're so much trouble then why is she still here?!" Cj yelled and they heared the door slam.
"Oh no..." Harry mumbled and indeed...
Their sister had left.

Harriette, meanwhile, had been packing her bags. She had been standing in front if Harry's room, listening to him and Cj.

"You only said the truth... for as far as I recall." Ouch. That had hurt. A lot.

Harriette didn't want to keep listening and feld to the door. She opened it and slammed it shut, leaving the Hook house.

Cj was right. Harriette was just as bad as father. Harry and Cj deserved a much better life.

Wait, the rational part of her brain said. Without you there, father will only be worse and punish them.

But the emotional, guilty part of her brain didn't think so. 'I was horrible to them. They'd be better off without me.'
