Harriette walked over the isle, on her way to Junior's place.
But she saw a familiar person lying on the ground.
The closer she got the better she recognised him.
"Harry?!" she yelled and she hurried to him.
There was blood on his forehead and he was unconscious.
"Harry...?"
Harriette gave her brother a nudge, trying to wake him as tears filled her eyes.
"Oh my god... Harry... This is all my fault..."
Desperately she slapped him in the face and it woke him up.
"God, Harry!" she said as she hugged him in relief.
"Where's Cj?" Harry asked."Cj?" Harriette asked. "What do you mean where's Cj?"
"You didn't see her?"
"No. I only saw you here, unconscious. Why didn't you ask Cj to stay at the Hook house Harry?" She asked.
"I did!" Harry snapped. "It's not my fault she didn't listen. You think you're the only one who's capable of being in charge. That everyone else fails compared to you?"Harriette flinched and Harry sighed. The argument was fresh in both of their minds.
"Sorry... I..." Harry mumbled but his sister stopped him.
"Don't. It's my fault. Hell, I should've never slapped you last night..."
"I was asking for it." Harry admitted and he shoke his head.
"Enough of that. We have to find Cj. Who knows what dad will do to her?"
"Oh dammit!" Harriette cursed and they hurried towards the Hook house, hoping that their little sister would be there. What Harriette didn't tell him was that she knew what Hook was probably doing to Cj. Harriette herself had been subjected to the broken closet filled with daggers and glass shards at a young age for taking Harry's punishments for him.
She felt dizzy at the thought of Cj being subjected to the same thing. Hook surely wouldn't do that right? Cj was still a child. He wouldn't torture her like that.
"Hettie." Harry said, breaking her train of thoughts. "We're here."
Harriette didn't respond but immediately rushed inside. Hook was in his room, she could tell so because of the loud, evil laughter coming from there.
She snuck into the closet room and heard a whimper. Cj. Harriette tried to open the door when she remembered. The key. Hook had it.
Harry looked at her sister.
"What the hell..?"
"Trust me, Cj has to get out of there!" Harriette said and they heared Cj breathe heavily.
"Cj, calm down... We'll get you out of there. Please... focus on your breathing." Harry said and Harriette looked at him.
"You keep calming down Cj and I'll try to get the key."
Harry nodded and his sister hurried away.
"Cj, can you hear me...?" Harry tried softly and he heared a small sob.
"Y-yea..."
"Okay, good. Keep your breathing under control okay?"
"I'm scared Harry..."
"I know... I know... Harriette is getting the key, it's going to be okay."
But he was wondering if his sister would be able to get the key from their father...Harriette walked to Hook's room and saw a bottle of rum outside the door. Hmm. Maybe it would work? She took out a vial of sleeping potions (sold by Gothel and Yzma) and poured it into the bottle. She saw a note by the bottle and read. So Mr Smee had been the one to deliver it huh?
She took the note (not wanting Mr Smee to get in trouble) and knocked on the door. She hid herseld just in time as Hook opened the door.
"Ah," He said and opened the bottle. Harriette was impatient for the potion to take effect. Cj was waiting to be released from the closet after all.
But Hook's expression changed.
"That smells different then usual..." he mumbled.
Harriette cursed softly under her breath.
But luck was on her side as her father shrugged and he drank it all in one go.Harriette waited until he fell down, asleep, and walked towards him. She took his wallet and she searched it for the key. Huh. It wasn't there.
She looked at the door of his room and opened it quietly. Maybe the key was in there.
She searched the broken desk but didn't find it there. This was taking too much time. Harriette cursed under her breath and searched the shelves. She found the key there, all dusty and rusting.
She hurried over to the closet room and unlocked the closet door. The door opened and Cj, puffy cheeks and red eyes, looked up.
Cj hugged Harry and Harriette was slightly hurt by that but she understood. Those two always had the stronger bond...
