Hanako's POV

Why did I do that you might ask? Well, to be completely honest with you, I've found that I have fallen for the random man in the crowd. Yeah, I don't even know his name and yet I'm still so infatuated with his gorgeous e/c eyes and his almost adorable, you could say, smile.

There was so much I hadn't learned about him yet so little ties to his personal life.

That is until I see who's next to him.

I know that face from anywhere.

"Melody! Long time no see hun!" I skipped over. "Seriously! But, Uhm, what's going on with you and Y/n? You never told me anything about this before." Bingo. I whispered a reply in her ear. "Why though, I mean look at him... No offence." She shook her hand at the now named stranger, Y/n, who shrunk down in place.

"Mk, anyways you guys can go sit down there if you'd like and I'll deal with those guys," I whispered the last part to Y/n and he seemed to pull his head back out of his shell at the information.

Obviously I wasn't actually dating him, of course not. Though I do wish. But, I wasn't going to let the press hear this. It would ruin a lot of things. Including me. I would be completely frazzled and probably guilty seeing as how Y/n reacted to it.

At least he was honest about how he felt about it.

Y/n's POV

His breath made shivers go down my spine when he leaned in close to my face. I at first thought he was going in for a peck but it was soon crushed by reality. The party pooper of all things big and small. The depressing feeling of despair that comes with realizing you won't get what you want.

I shouldn't feel this type of way for a guy totally out of my league. Not to mention, I never thought that I would like the same sex, but first times for everything I guess. I'm not generally against it so it's nothing I should be "concerned about". (COUGH COUGH every homophobic parent ever COUGH COUGH).

My thoughts fazed back into real life and remember that he's pretty much asked me if I wanted for him to take care of the paparazzi. "U, uh y,yeah sure. That'd be great thanks." I flashed a nervous smile at him and stuttered.

He returned the smile and left backstage with the interviewing crew.

Turning to my friends they snickered. "So, what's up with you and lover boy hm?" They asked. "N, nothing! Literally!" "Mhm, sure." They turned back from their position which was like those comedy James Bond wannabes where they stack up.

It was silent the rest of the wait except the loud people in the back and the crew that was taking down the stage and whatnot.

Footsteps came closer to us about 10 minutes after and the interviewing crew left with a few smiling and others looking like they wish they'd just get a different job.

A pair shoes clicked on the floor and black boots came out of the shadows with the black haired male following close behind. "You can follow me" he smiled practically villainously at us which made me shrivel up inside.

"So, you all have backstage passes meaning you can ask me anything!" He chatted and looked towards us waiting for any questions or words of fondness.

"Uhm, we weren't exactly sure on what to ask you. Nor did we even consider it." Daniel admitted a bit ashamed.

"That's fine, you can take your time, just not too much!" Hanako laughed after.

"Well, uhm, you probably get this a lot but do you have an interest in anyone?" I asked afraid of what he might say. There was no chance in the history of the word "cliché" that I would get  even a second together with this guy let alone get in a major relationship.

"I've had my eyes on someone recently actually. Usually I don't have an answer to that question but as of late there's been someone who keeps reoccurring and I can't seem to take my eyes off them." He finished, looking a bit awkward and with his head in between his legs, he popped back up with the same smile.

Just what I didn't want. But how could I help it? He's fallen for someone and I'm not even sure if I even like this dude. I've heavily considered it but decided it seemed too clingy. Especially when they're a pop idol and the chances of you getting to be with them are one in a million.

"Oh?" Daniel looked a bit intrigued.

"Could we maybe, and I know you get this a ton, but maybe get a few pictures with you while we're here?" Melody asked.

"Of course! Pictures are always welcomed." He avowed.

This went a bit over my target word count but that's alright. More for you to read and more for me to edit and cringe at :D. Anyways, stay weird!
Bye~
