Broken

I check the time again. 4AM.
I'm tired but at least the Daycare is clean and organized again. However the footsteps didn't stop. It evolved to muffled mumbling. I know someone is here but I don't know who and I don't know where.
I also don't know what to do. I did notice that I've been getting stronger and stronger headaches as the footsteps got louder. Is it whatever has been corrupting us?
I have to find out some way.
I then hear a weird, shrieking type of sound. I look around to find the source and get to the gate. I peek through a small opening.
"Chica..?!"
I see Chica dragging herself around. Her face is destroyed, she's lost her beak and her body looks mangled and damaged. A wave of anxiety flows through my system.
"Chica!" I get out of the Daycare and get up to her. She stops walking at looks at me. She seems very sad.
"Oh dear, what happened to you?! Did someone do this to you?!" I hold her face gently and inspect the damage. It's not something I can fix sadly.
She nods in response to my question.
"Who did this to you?! One of us?"
She nods no. I realise.
"Was it the child?"
She nods yes. I feel sick, it's like my robotic heart sunk to my feet. I feel so upset.
"Chica dear, I apologise for that. That is so disgusting. Can you get to a mechanic to get it fixed?"
She nods no. I see a similar material leave her eyes as what left mine earlier. Except mine was goldish, hers has a pink hue to it. I wipe her tears away for her and give her a hug.
"I'm so sorry dear. Did anything happen to the others?"
As I say that, I hear a loud crash coming from the other side of the pizza plex. Chica's head jerks up. She knows something just happened. Both of us are worried. She looks at me and grabs my hand.
"Are you gonna take me there? But Moon might—" She doesn't listen and she doesn't care. She takes my hand and we begin walking over to where the noise came from.

We arrive at Roxanne's Raceway. I haven't seen this place in months. It looks so epic, just like how I remember it. The neon lights, the wonderful mural of her, the insane raceway. The only thing that's missing is Roxanne Wolf herself. But before I can take all of it in, Chica rushes over to a wall. I see a racecart dangling at the edge there. I get a very bad feeling. I follow my friend and see her expression change. She grabs someone's hand.
"Roxanne..."
"Sun? Is that you? Who's there?!"
Chica pulls her up.
"Chica and me, we came after hearing a loud noise. Are you... okay?"
I look at her. Roxanne pats the dirt off her and then looks at me. I notice her eyes are gone, ripped right from her head. I gasp. Chica continues to cry silently.
"Roxanne... what happened?" I ask her. I also gently inspect her face. Again, something I can't fix, and most likely something the mechanics can't fix up either.
"This little boy... he crashed the cart right into me and took my eyes." She moves over to Chica, feels for her hand and places it onto her damaged head, on the cheek to be exact.
"Chica is this you?"
Chica confirms by putting her other hand on the other cheek. Roxanne sighs and cries as well. Her tears have a green hint. She sniffs and Chica wipes the tears away. They touch foreheads. I feel so angry yet sad. This childis ruining our peace for no reason. We all wanted the best for him and here he goes taking my friends apart...
"Hey Roxanne, do you know where the kid went? We can find him and get your eyes back?" I'm anxious.
"No, the moment he knocked me out, my eyes were gone. It's no use." She sighs. Chica and Roxanne hug. Chica's body shocks from time to time from the crying.
"Hey Sun, why doesn't Chica talk to me?"
I feel myself choking on my words.
"Roxanne, Chica had her beak and voicebox stolen. She can't speak."
I see Roxanne freeze. Chica sobs and hugs Roxanne tightly.
"We have to find Gregory. He's hurt my dearest Chica, he deserves whatever hell is coming."
I haven't seen Roxanne this angry before, but I understand why. I hate seeing my friends like this. I sigh.
"I don't know where he's gone, Miss Vanessa has been acting weird and now I find you two broken. Something is wrong in this PizzaPlex and it's not just this little boy. I keep hearing an intruder but I can't see them."
"An intruder?" Roxanne turns her head to me.
"I've been seeing a rabbit hopping through the PizzaPlex for a few days now. Maybe that's who you mean."
"A rabbit? But there is no rabbit anymore..." I look down.
"I don't mean our old pal Bonnie. I mean, a white rabbit with red eyes. She's been hopping around the PizzaPlex and messing with us."
That makes me think.
Maybe she's the one who corrupted me?
I sigh.
"I've been hearing her. My Moon side was corrupted, and I think it might be her fault."
"Moon got— I'm sorry Sun." Roxanne places a hand on my shoulder.
I smile.
"It's okay, my damage isn't as bad as yours. We should worry about you more than Moon right now, since they've tried fixing me already."
Roxanne sighs and takes Chica by the hand.
"We have to find Monty. We could prevent Gregory hurting him. I have a feeling Monty won't be able to defeat him."
"You're right. I'll lead you guys to Gator Golf, you hold onto Chica alright?" I sniff.
Roxanne nods and we make our way to Gator Golf.

I haven't been to Gator Golf before. I mean I know how to get there, I hadn't ever been inside before. The sudden noises of the aligators and the music kind of scare me sometimes. I look around. There's a lot of green. I see a stairway up and I follow the routes in the sky with my eyes to take in the layout.
Chica points up. I follow her finger and see she's pointing at the child.
"He's up there!"
But we are too late. We watch as he presses a button and the ginormous bucket tips over. Montgomery holds it for a few seconds, but with a loud scream he falls through the course. There's plastic balls everywhere. He loses his legs and his jaw loosens. I see the boy taking his hands and running off. I can't get to him in time. I rush over to Montgomery and get on my knees to help him up.
"Montgomery—"
Chica and Roxanne follow shortly after.
"Sun? I haven't seen you in ages!" He sounds very optimistic for someone who just got destroyed.
I let out some tears.
"Montgomery, are you hurt? Here, I'll help you up—"
"Leave me here." He moves my hands off him.
"What?!"
"I'm no use. The boy took my hands and my legs flew to the other side of the golf course. All I can do is crawl. I'll just hold you back like this." He sighs.
I have never seen him so defeated, both literally and figuratively. I sniff.
"What happened to him Sun?!" Roxanne asks.
"The kid just crushed him. Ran off with his hands. His legs came off."
Roxanne gasps. Chica cries.
"Montgomery, I'll carry you."
He looks at me.
"I'm pretty heavy sport, I don't think you—"
I refuse to hear his reasoning. I put one of his arms around my neck and the other one as well.
"Hold onto me as much as you can, okay?"
I use a fallen down piece of cloth and tie his torso to mine. So he won't slip off as I walk.
"I didn't expect you to be this strong, Sun."
I snicker and wipe some tears off.
"I gotta be prepared for stuff like this, you know?" I sniff.
"Now, we gotta make our way around. We have to find this boy."
