I hear someone behind me start to laugh

My palms start to sweat, and I try to find an answer as quick as possible

"It's 12x" he cuts in
My stomach flutters
*did he just save me!? Did Noah just do that for me*
He looks at me and smiles

The teacher continues the lesson until the bell rings, although I didn't pay any attention to her....
I walk out of class.
