Your POV:I stare at the blank page sitting on my desk, not knowing what to write about. I scratched my head as I wrote something down then scribbled it out again. Playing with my pen, I got an idea and jot it down on the page before I rip it out and scrunch it up, leaving it on my desk to the side.
"For this week's assignment, I want you all to write a 1 page creative story. You have 3 days to complete it and I will give you some time in class today to work on it," Mr. Okumura spoke to the class. "If you fail to complete this assignment, not only will you get a detention where you will sit and write the essay, you'll also get classroom cleaning duty for the rest of the week." He continued sternly as he looked towards the person sitting in front of me.
"Alright class, you have until the rest of the lesson to start your essays and I want to see at least one paragraph with full sentences on your page." The teacher spoke as the class frantically began writing down their stories.
I sighed in frustration when I couldn't get my brain to write a single word down. 'Though he loved her, he had to let her go-' I began to write down before I slammed my pen on the desk. "Miss Saotome, is everything okay?" The teacher asked me. "Yes, sir." I replied as my eyes went back down to the one line I had written.
'In the time he spent with her, he cherished and loved her endlessly. Though it was not fate that brought them together, it was fate that separated the two, breaking her heart into pieces. She spent days, months even years finding a way to get her out of this pain she was put in, but to no avail, she was lost.' I wrote down as I breathed a breath I didn't know I was holding in.
"Alright class, time is up. Hand your papers to the front for me to read. If there is no paragraph with full sentences, that is also a detention for you and classroom duty for the next 2 days. Class is dismissed." The teacher said as the bell finally rang.

The wind blew my hair as I stared up at the beautiful sky. Today was a breathtakingly beautiful day, the sky was so clear and blue. I leaned on the railing of the roof top as a particular person clouded my thoughts. 'I wonder where he is' I thought as I breathed in a fresh breath of the breeze.
"Not jumping again today?" An all too familiar voice asked from behind me. I rolled my eyes as I turned my head to get a better look at him. "Maybe tomorrow," I said sarcastically as I stared at him for a little longer. "Cool," he said as he lit up a cigarette. "I told you those can kill you, didn't I?" I said as I stared daggers at the cigarette. "And I care why?" He retorted as he puffed on it.
He started walking closer to where I was standing but he stopped when he was less than a metre away from me. "You know, you look like someone," he said as his eyes scanned me for answers. "Oh yeah? Who?" I asked not interested in the conversation at all. "Dunno," he replied as he continued to puff on the cigarette.
"Then why did you bring it up? Weirdo" I muttered the last part just above a whisper. "Indeed I am," he smirked as he threw a wink my way. I cringed at him as he put out the cigarette by stepping on it as always. "See you tomorrow, weirdo." He walked away as the scent of the cigarette burned my nose.
The rest of the day was normal. I went home, got dressed and went to work at Mrs. Sohma's. That old lady is a really sweet person. God, I wish there were more people like her in the world. Well, there was but he decided to leave me... not by choice I guess.
After my shift at the store, I came home, showered and laid on my futon. "Today was tiring," I said as I turned to my side. "Let's just sleep it off." And with that, I fell into a deep sleep.
