"Tiinngg tiing tiing" Came the voice of my phone from beside me. I opened my eyes seeing my boy wide awake. He giggled as I narrowed my eyes on him.

"What are u doing with my phone? " I rubbed the stubble from my chin trying to wake up...

"Kya hua? " I asked He pointed towards the clock. I saw the time and jumped out of bed. Thankfully I had the foresight to teach him to read time from early on.

"Oh shi.... zzle we're late! How am I now going to make it on time??" Lord being single parent sucks at times like these. I bolted out of my bed with rudra following me behind.

"Rudra I packed your bag just get it with you down stairs" He moved from bed and waddled down the Hall ( when he jumped I held my breath as in preparing myself to catch him. ... This boy) I ran to my closet trying to grab some formal suit as I skipped shower today. ( I'm still fresh after the shower I took last night......I'm guessing so) I hardly managed to shave, Still having patch here and there that I simply skipped.

I quickly tied my tie and turned around seeing rudra luckily dressed with everything where it should be. Warna toh Somedays things would be on his head when they should be on his bum.

I grabbed an apple and stuffed it in my mouth and handed rudra some toasts. I took his lunch box and put it in his backpack.

I drove rudra to kindergarten. Things seriously became manic since I started going back to office. I basically became soooo busy and things too were not going as planned. I had to be both, the mom and the dad.

I gave him a quick peck telling him I'll see him this afternoon. Before his teacher could call him he wrapped his little arms around my neck as I was bending down to ruffle his hair.

"Yaad haina.. Aaj poem reciti....recit....reciitei..jo bhi ho wo hai after school. So, come on time....got that" He stated sternly.... I kissed his forehead again. I could simply kiss his little face all day long.

"I promised U I'd be there, so I'll be... Got that" He waved goodbye and he ran to his teacher who was there to get all the children in.

I got to work little late than usual. Chavi, my secretary, rushed to me giving me a pile of files I had to go through. Unfortunately now I couldn't work from home anymore. It's going to be a hectic month...

Being the partner of a multinational company isn't the easiest job while you're trying to raise a 3-year-old and not to miss the very active one. Chavi came in my office placing some notes on my desk, with her short dress clinging to her every curve. Even after 3 years of trying she still hasn't gotten the message that I'm not interested in her.

After my engagement broke. I haven't had time to even look at another woman. My ex fiancée Lekha was a complete jerk and imbecile so I couldn't fathom having a relationship again. She and I were in live in for 2 years, I loved her with all my heart but she being the bitch she was never really loved be...

The day I got rudra she left me saying that she don't want baggage around her and that she had career to focus on. Just then after three days post our seperation I found her in bed with my Best Friend. It's then I got to know that this relationship was brewing much before me getting rudra home... And that rudra was just an excuse she was with my friend much before I could even think.
And since then I never heard anything about her and neither do I want to....
