*Takes place when Elijah is starting preschool*
Adam: Wake up, cutie pie! Time to go to your first day of preschool.
Elijah: 5 more minutes, Daddy. (they call Adam "Daddy" and Kai "Dad.")
Adam: Awwww. Come on. Don't make me tickle you.
Elijah didn't respond nor move. They're still asleep. Adam gave a small smile and chuckle a bit.
Adam: Alright, you asked for it.
Adam tickled Elijah so much, it caused Elijah to be fully awake and attacked Adam back by trying to tickle him.
Adam: Alright, get dressed. Dad's making breakfast already.
Elijah: OK, Daddy!
Elijah got dressed, ate breakfast, brush their teeth, fix their short and puffy hair, and got their school supplies. The preschool is only 2.6 miles away from their home, so they don't need their car to drive to there. As soon they got there, Elijah started to get worried.
Elijah: Dad, Daddy... Do I have to go to school? It's scary.
Adam: *sighs* The reason why you need to go to school is because you need education, get a job in the future, and whatever future stuff you're going to do.
Kai: Yeah. But, we'll see you after school and tell us how it is.
Elijah: *softly* OK.
Elijah is greeted by their teacher, Mrs. Danston. Before they got inside, Elijah hugged both of their dads.
Elijah: Bye, Dads.
Kai: Bye, Elijah. See you soon.
*time skip to after school*
Elijah felt happy and had a smile across their face. As soon they headed outside, they saw their dads.
Elijah: Dad! Daddy!
Adam: Hi there, you weasel!
Elijah hugged both of them. Along their walk home, Elijah tells their dads how's their first day of school was.
