venti and the ventots (venti x venti)

A beautiful friendship

Imma be honest here I didn't wanna write more of this since it was a joke but whatever I'm bored

It all started when ventis friend was still alive, his friend was sitting on starsnatch cliff playing a somber melodie on his lyre as venti floated around him happily listening to the music

But something didn't feel right
Something was seriously wrong it felt like he was in serious danger

After they had been sitting there for about three hours his friend stopped playing and looked up at venti saying "I'm sorry about how this all turned out my dear friend" venti was immediately confused and distraught what did he mean by "I'm sorry" what was happening, suddenly with out a second word or thought his friend jumped off the cliff and as fast as he had jumped he hit the ground with a thump

By the time venti got down to him, his lifeless body was already getting cold the poor boy had broken his neck and blood was slowly dripping from his moth
The smell of old mora filled ventis nostrils as I looked at his beloved friend suddenly realising that maybe he was a bit more then a friend

Cause ventis beloved had a special place in his heart where nothing else was allowed only him nothing else, he wouldn't let him die he was frantically flying around trying to get help but he sadly couldn't talk, he tried to scream but he had no mouth all he could do was cry. After the archon war he got named barbatos the anemo archon and got the ability to shape shift he soon shifted to the shape of his beloved friend

He knew that as long as he looked like him he wasn't truely gone.

Venti tried and tried again but he could never fall in love again at last all he had was himself and he was ok with that all he needed was himself and his beloveds old lyre and he knew that If he ever broke it he would jump off starsnatch and join his beloved

But as time went one and venti lived his life as a replacement of his beloved dear friend he started to realise that he was missing something he was missing his other half so he started the long journey to Liyue to find morax surely he would know of a way to see his friend just one last time and ask him "why?" Why could he do this to him how could he just leave venti without a second thought

When he finally made it to liyue he started asking around for morax but all he got was nothing so he contacted an old friend

Xiao.

When he met up with xiao he asked him about morax saying "what happened to my dear morax I haven't seen him in ages" and all xiao had to say was "he's no longer known as morax he now goes by the name of zhongli" and with that he left now knowing what he was looking for venti knew what to ask for

He started asking around the city and found he was working at the funural parlour when he arrived he was greeted by a young girl who said "Ello sir how can I help you" all venti said was "I'm looking for a an old friend named zhongli" to which hu Tao responded "wow so that old geaser has friends after all" before going to grab him when he came out venti and him locked eyes and recognised eachother immediately and they ran to eachother and hugged for an uncomfortable amount of time before venti said "I need to contact someone no longer with us" and zhongli immediately looked to his boss. Hu Tao was a big fan of the dead and knew exactly how to get venti to the realm of the dead

When they finally made it they started to look for ventis beloved friend but he was no where to be seen they looked and asked everywhere but no one could help him

Eventually they found someone who could help them

But not in the way they wanted cause when the old ghost man led them to his friend all they found was a Cecilia flower and a copy of ventis lyre
The old man proceeded to tell them that the young boy faded long ago and that this was all that remained as venti slowly realised he fell to his knees knowing he was too late as the tears began to fall all he could do was scream cause he was finally able to he screamed and screamed antill his voice went away and his throat felt numb

He didn't have anything left in life only hurt so what meaning did life have
But sadly he was a god
And nothing can kill a god not even the god himself so he continued to live but no longer as venti he now lived as barbatos he didn't have the same joy as before he felt nothing not happy not sad not angry no nothing
He just felt

Numb.

He couldn't do anything he just sat at the top of an old tree for the rest of eternity wondering why his friend had done this and what he could have done to stop it to still have his lover but he couldn't
He was all alone till the and of time

And there was nothing he could do about it

Cause he didn't even try

He didn't want to he

He was gone

So he had nothing left

Nothing to live for

No reason to stay

In the end he destroyed it all

No more mondstadt

No more anemo archon right?

Right

He died along with his nation

And that was it he was gonna long with his beloved

With the only words "I love you"
