Percy POV

After I touched her hand, we felt sparks. Well atleast I felt sparks when our hands collided. She kept staring at me like I was some sort of maniac who had just been pushed off a cliff and still survived.

"Why did you help me?..." She finally said after what felt like hours but in a good way.

"Umm.. Well.. I just wanted to say sorry for the way I acted earlier this morning. It was an emergency. Like, monsters flying around emergency. Just joking, I was.. in a rush to meet my friend Grover. So.. Sorry, I hope we're fine now..." I responded to her exasperated.

She seemed a little shocked by what I said. "Ah... yeah it's fine... Sorry for bumping into you... twice." She said, her cheeks turning a shade of pink. I chuckled loud enough for her friends and her to hear it.

"Anyways, I need your name incase I bump into you again..." She said, her statement sounding sarcastic.

"Percy, I'm Percy."  I said, my voice quiet so only she could hear.

"Annabeth." She replied, in the same tone.

I could see her studying me. It felt like she was looking right through me with her stunning gray eyes. It's unerving. I noticed it became very quite. Even her friends were just watching us. And she's standing in front of me shivering. And we're both in the fountain which we should probably get out of. I should say something..

"Umm you're wet." I said. I mean obviously I know she's wet. That was a stupid thing to say. Great now I sound dumb.

There was a moment of silence.

"And you're not..." She finally said,loudly enough for her friends to hear.

And at that I look down to see myself completely dry without a single drop of water on my clothes. Everything around me was soaked with water- the stone floor, the grass nearby, the benches next to the fountain, except for me... Well maybe not her friends who were lurking in the background. 

Oh crap...

"Ummn.. I gotta go, sorry, bye!" I said in such a rush that I think I may have bit my tongue.

"Wait but why aren't y-" Annabeth started. I ran fast out of there, in order to find Grover, cutting her off.

"GROVER, GROVER, GROV-!" For some reason I couldn't find Grover but mid-scream I felt someone bonk me in the back of the head.

"Ow what the F**k!" I yelled frustruated.

"Oh its just you- Hehe" I heard a voice say, chuckling softly at the end.

"Seriously, Grover, dont do that please, like, ever."

"Sorry I thought you were someone else..." Grover replied with a much worried expression.

"Its fine... Dont do it again please-" I repeated to him, rubbing my head.

"Okie sorry hehe. Anyways why were you looking for me?" Grover really needed to stop asking me why I am looking for him whenever I say hi to him.

 "Umm... So there was this girl and I bumped into her... twice. The second time, we fell into the fountain and she got wet but she noticed I wasn't. I think she's confused about... Well... everything" I explained to Grover.

"Oh dam. We got to tell Chiron about this..!" Grover told me with a hint of obviously badly hidden stress. "Ok then... But when?" I ask.

"Now."
