The Ballad of the Rising Sun

This was a ballad sung by human slaves that were worked to death in the supposed "Dojo of the Rising Sun". It functioned both as a way to synchronize the slaves' movements, swinging their tools to the beat of the singing, but also as demon propaganda, painting the Demon Slayer Corps as a "bastard clan". The ballad is still sung by the remaining human slaves to this day.

There is a dojo in South Japan

They call the Rising Sun

And it's been a ruin of many a poor child

And Kami knows I'm one.

Our fathers and our mothers

Formed a bastard clan.

They corrupted our ruler and stepped out of place

Down in South Japan.

And the only thing that a bastard needs

Is a punishment for sin.

It's an honor to suffer in place of them.

Rebels never win.

Oh daughter, tell your children

not to follow in my way.

Never rebel against the demon race.

In South Japan, you'll stay.
