Sally was definitely the best person to see us off. She may have been Percy's mom but we all loved her and she always welcomed us. Even me and Piper who she hadn't even known till a couple of weeks ago. I kind of wished I could see Thalia but I knew she was busy with the hunters.

"Hey man, ready to go?" asked Percy, pulling me out of my thoughts.

I nodded "yeah might as well right?" We didn't know how long we were going to stay in Hogwarts but we were prepared for anything. (As demigods always are)

All of us loaded our trunks onto the train and got on after saying one last goodbye to Sally and Paul. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny followed us in after and we looked around for a cabin to occupy. There were way too many of us to fit in one cabin so we split up. Harry, Ginny, Annabeth and Percy took one cabin and Will, Nico, Piper and I took another. Ron and Hermione were apparently head-girl and head-boy that year (A/n - let us assume that no one from the younger grades minded) so they were in a completely different carriage with the prefects. (Ginny was Gryffindor Quidditch captain. I'm not quite sure what that is to be honest)

"This is a pretty big carriage" said Will, looking around.

"Yeah" said Nico plainly.

Piper plopped herself down on one of the seats and I sat next to her. Will took a seat opposite Piper, leaving Nico to either sit next to Piper or next to Will. I was hoping he would take the latter option but he actually decided to sit next to Pipes. I could practically see the shred of disappointment on Will's face before he masked it with a halfhearted smile. Will was looking much more well rested then he did before. I supposed it was because he didn't have to tend to patients every few hours these days.

"Hey, isn't that Lauren and Claire?" asked Piper looking out the glass pane of the door to the cabin.

"Oh yeah" I said, seeing the blond and the brunette standing unsurely outside our door.

"The other cabins must be full" said Will. "We should let them sit with us"

Nico stood up without a word and opened the door. "You guys need a place to sit?" he asked them.

Claire looked unsure but Lauren said "Yeah we do actually. Will it be okay if we joined you? Everywhere else is full."

"Yeah sure" said Nico, letting them in. Neeks wasn't usually one to talk to new people too much but I think Will is rubbing off on him.

Claire and Lauren sat next to Will and Nico closed the door of the cabin and went back to where he was sitting before.

"Thanks for letting us sit here" said Lauren.

"Yeah we usually sit with my cousin Lucifer and his girlfriend Angelina, But this time they wanted to sit with their friends." Claire explained.

"Mhmm they can't babysit us forever" said Lauren smiling slightly.

"You don't need to give us excuses Lauren" said Piper, smiling "we are totally okay to have you here."

"Thank you" the two of them said, looking grateful.

"Will it be rude for me to ask you what you are?" said Claire slowly.

Lauren gave her a look and hid her face in her hands. "Apologies for my obnoxiously intruding friend." she said through her hands. Claire nudged her side with her elbow. "Ow" she muttered, looking up again.
