I can be Your Cinderella. Chapter 2: Nerd's Love.

I don't know if you can really call me a nerd. I may have braces, headgear, glasses, pocket protectors, and suspenders but does that really qualify me as a nerd?

I really like Adam Xiao. But I'm not sure he likes me anymore.Yes he used to like me. Key word used. I know I messed up big time. But it all started at my high school one day.

Ontario Canada Niagara Falls High School

I went to my locker and grabbed my books. It was the first day of school. The popular kids were already chosen over the summer. Its based on a number of factors:

• Parties

• Personality

• Wealth

• Clothes

• House

and more. But of course if that were true I'd be oozing with popularity.

I was walking to my first period class when I saw the popular crew walking down the hall about 5 yards away. How did I know if they were so far away you may ask. The loyal servants- I mean students cleared away a pathway for them just to walk through.

That's when I saw him, Adam. He looked PERFECT! I'd never showed a interest in boyfriends or even boys. But when I saw Adam my heart raced and I froze. Someone pushed me back in lines to let them through. They were basically bowing down to them saying, "All hail the Popular Crew!". Everyone was shoving their, lunch money, purses, and (here's a weird one) a tooth brush to them. They'd give ANYTHING to be popular.

Adam was the perfect guy. His hair was perfect, his face was perfect, his everything was perfect. I felt what I had NEVER felt before. It was love.

Though my feelings for him were true and strong it was just not meant to be. I was apart of the "Repulsi've Rejects" and he was the "Popular Crew". One clashing with the other can lead to your social life falling or rising depending which party you are.

One of my friends- if you can call them that- saw me day dreaming at Adam. She slapped me, snapped me out of it, and told me our love would never work out. My other friend heard and asked who's love. Soon enough the rumor "A Nerd named Jesse likes Adam!" was born.

That rumor spread in school faster than the flu in flu season. No one knew who I was so the most common answer was "Who is Jesse?". So, the search for Jesse began.
