"RENEE FITZPATRICK HAD BEEN THROUGH IT. It seemed that from the moment she took her faint first breath in the local hospital she had been marked for failure. But being a failure and being forgotten are two different things. Although unknown to her she would never be forgotten by the people she loved and loved her back harder. The only things that remained constant in her life were the family she chose, or that chose her? and drugs. Not the picture perfect life others chose to have. Truth be told Renee was tired of thinking her world was going to fall apart because in most ways it already had. She was strong, learned from her mistakes and Fez wasn't one of those mistakes."
"Sonia and Aaron Fitzpatrick had married in a shitty walk-in elopement church, you know the ones in Vegas that have a guy dressed as Elvis. Her parents thought they were in love after a night out gambling and snorting what ever they could find off of a hand held mirror she kept in her purse. Their so called love lasted fifteen and a half hours before they went their seperate ways. Aaron leaving Sonia with a baby slowly growing inside her. Ten weeks after her night in Vegas, Sonia overdosed. She lived of course, all shitty people in the world do. She had no intentions of actually keeping her baby because in her mind she had a life that was worth keeping. One where she could do what ever the fuck she wanted, when she wanted. One of the nurses gave her one of those colourful pamphlets that have writing in capital letters saying "You're making the right decision" and Sonia was sold. Until she found out how much would have to pay for the procedure. Seven months later an unhealthy child of addiction was born. Wren only went nine years living with her mother until she decided that motherhood wasn't all it was cracked up to be and left. I don't know all of the details to Wrens abandonment but from what I gather it was fucked up."
