Encanto Fan Fiction: Bruno's Return

Chapter 1: Convincing Bruno To Stay

Everybody went home, apart from the Madrigal's. This was their home.

Bruno tried to sneak back to the walls un-noticed, but was soon caught by Delores.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

Bruno jumped, he hadn't noticed her following him. He was almost lost for words, all he could come up with was

"I, um..."

Dolores cut in,

"Back to the walls?"

Conversation went back and forth.

"You knew?"

"Well yeah, I hear everything, even your rat shows."

"Hehe..."

Bruno's voice was unsteady, it trailed of. Dolores seemed worried,

"Tìo Bruno, please, talk to me, what's wrong? Why do you want to go back to the walls?"

She seemed slightly off herself, and Bruno picked up on this.

"I'm fine kid, but how are you?"

"I'm fine, why do you ask?"

Dolores was genuinely confused, she hadn't noticed how much the noise of the Casita falling had affected her.

"Your voice is kinda shakey, it's probably nothing."

"Oh, I guess I'm a bit shook from the Casita collapsing, it was really loud for me."

"I can only imagine"

"You still haven't answered the question, why do you want to go back to the walls?"

Dolores was now more determined, she needed an answer.

Bruno was caught off guard be this, he didn't really know.

"I, uhh... well, M-m-m-mirabel kinda uhh you know, d-destroyed my tower, s-s-so I don't r-really have anywhere e-e-else to s-stay."

"Yeah, well the Casita fell and we have rebuilt it since then so how about you go see if it's still a sand pit."

"Fine, you caught me."

"What?"

"I'm scared I'll mess up again, seems like the magic's back so if I'm around people could ask me to lOoK iN To ThE fUtUrE and then be really upset with me cause it's something bad."

"Nobody understands you don't control it, do they?"

"Nope, I also kind forgot how to 'family'..."

"Well you helped Mirabel save the family, so I'm sure we can teach you how to 'family' again."

"Okay, fine, I won't go back to the walls. For now."

"Great, come on let's go." Delores grabbed Bruno's arm and dragged him down to the the living room.
