I sneaked out of the bed as quiet as I could and I walked to my chair. I was sitting in it, trying to remember the day I met him. Yes, trying, because somewhere during that day, I passed out. I was counting back until the twenty second of September. Exactly two hundred and twenty four days ago.
It has been a few months since I first saw his face. I knew this day was going to be the best day of my life, or the worst. I'd never expected them to come somewhere near me, so I had been looking forward to today since I found out they were coming. Their signing was in a city about an hour by car, but I had already seen people on twitter saying they would be there at 3am. I thought this was a joke. And I was wrong. I arrived around 9am, and immediately I understood I was too late. Great.
I could see that there were more than five thousand people. My hand started to hurt, which always happens when I'm nervous. I had to decide whether I should try to get in the crowd or not. It was only fifteen minutes past nine. I realised that this boy was really important to me, when I started walking away from the crowd. I was about to track them down... and that was nothing like me!
I needed to find a place with free wifi, which was easier than I thought because soon I found a Starbucks. I opened the door, it was crowded but eventually I found a table. I sat down and grabbed my phone out of my pocket. It was only 10am. I quickly logged into twitter and tried to find the hotel of the boys. As I already thought, there was not much to find and I soon realised I had to find it myself. I searched on google for hotels in the area and I found four that seemed luxurious enough for world famous celebrities.
I chose the hotel that was nearest to me as my first destination. I found a tiny shop where city maps were sold and I bought one. Step one was completed. Soon I arrived at the first hotel, but I immediately saw it was closed. I walked to a sign on the window, it said the hotel was closed until next month. That was one less obstacle.
As I walked to the next hotel, I realised it was next to the square the signing was held. I heard screaming and singing, it became louder when I got closer. I laughed. I was losing my mind, thinking that I would have a chance. Then I thought of a thing one of my best friends once said to me. "Dream it. Wish it. Do it!" She told me that was her motto, and I decided it should be mine too. I dreamt it, I wished it, and now I'm doing it!
My hand was still hurting when I was walking around the square to find the entrance of the hotel. I stopped walking when I was at the side of the square that was opposite to the hotel. I saw the entrance, it was right behind the crowd. I was deciding whether to wait in line or try to get to the hotel, when the screaming became so loud, it snapped me out of my spinning thoughts. Why was the screaming so loud? I saw people pointing at the hotel. It was huge, with a lower part that was about thirty meters high. I looked up and immediately I saw hands waving from the rooftop...
