Seriously...

I never know why there was such a saying that money can't buy you happiness when clearly it can in so many ways, the smiles on my sister's face as she showed Grace the things I got her which only made my heart clench with joy.

Venus was modeling her new school uniform for her brothers who took pictures and praised her on how beautiful she look, the school logo and the the shoes that had tiny heels that needed to be worn with knee high socks. She looked like one of those british school girls that gets bullied in every teen movie but I can admit she's adorable.

At least she can pull off plad...

And the twins still haven't decided who was driving the car first nearly breaking the key that I gave them for an old cherry red mustang that they had been drooling over since they got their drivers license. 

They weren't all that thrilled to buy new clothes since both of them hate shopping but the smile on their faces when they realized they didn't need to share all their clothes was enough to make me happy. 

And a small trip to some winter shops to get better coats since the boys grew three inches again, Chicago was starting to get cold again.

Maybe this year I can get better presents for the twins with their Christmas presents which would make this year the first one that they actually enjoyed and not skim over like the rest. They deserve to feel like kids again who get good presents under the tree and get excited to wake up in the morning to see if Santa ate the cookies we made even if two of them were a little bit too old for santa.

Our luck has finally turned around this year.

"So like you got a new job and now we can afford to get name brand yogurt" Venus asked looking at me with a slight confused look not fulling understanding why I had gotten more money than usual.

"In terms" I technically didn't have a new job, I had a new employer.

Lux laughed "She's working for that guy who bought half of Chicago Cubs when they lost the game against the Los Angeles angels" I glared at him for putting that out there but our little sister just laughed thinking me was joking

"Your silly Lulu" Vee laughed as she threw her tiny shoe at him while I picked up the price tags on the floor trying not to gawk at the numbers.

I smiled feeling proud that I didn't even feel guilty for spending so much money, we had enough for an entire two months since I was paid in full plus a bonus from the information I handed over.

"Yeah Luluuu" Cas teased the old nickname as the boy went bright red, even though he won't say it out loud he adored the nickname because he loved seeing Vee smile but not when his twin teased him. 

Lux grabbed  him in a head lock "Wanna say that again Tori?" And there goes the twins fighting once again.

I let the twins fight it out since they were laughing as they pinned each other to the floor as Vee ran around them giggling trying to find a way to jump on them to play wrestle as well.
