Dean slowly woke up the next morning, drenched in sweat. "C-Cas? Where are you?" He questioned, his voice sounding rough and gravely. Dean tried to move only to find he was restrained. "Cas! Cas, buddy where are you?! The demons, they must've got me." It didn't take long for the blue eyed man to walk into Dean's room. "Good morning Dean, how are you feeling?" Instead of his familiar trench coat, he had on a doctor's uniform.
"I'm peachy. Now help me outta here before those sons bitches come back." He pulled at the restraints keeping him held down.
"What are you speaking of Dean?" He asked Dean as he sat at the foot of his bed. "The demons Cas, the demons" He said in disbelief. Cas nodded slowly as he wrote a few things down on a clip board he was carrying.
"Alright, I'll let you up. But no violence." He stated. "Cas, we're leaving here. You and I can leave this loony bin." Dean pulled at the leather straps that held him down.
"Dean, I am afraid we can't...You can't leave just yet." He stood back up and started to undo the straps. "Castiel. You are an angel." Dean voiced. Cas finished unstrapping Dean with a light blush across his face. "I appreciate the compliment Dean, but I am no angel." He sighed lightly.
Dean scoffed and sat up. "Why can't you remember?!" He exclaimed. "You or Sam don't think demons are real." He continued. He grabbed onto Castiel's shoulders, he had a tight grip, but not tight enough to cause him harm. "Castiel, angel of the lord. You fell from grace Cas. You fell from heaven. Became human." At this point, Dean started to tear up.
"Dean, are you...crying?" Cas asked looking into Deans eyes. "No, my face is just leaking." He stated as he looked away and wiped away the few tears that escaped from him.
Cas hesitantly took Dean in a gentle hug. Dean gave him a hug back. "It's hard Cas. You don't remember who you are. Sam doesn't either." He states as he pulls away from Cas.
Cas sighs lightly and shakes his head. "Dean, none of that was real." He says sadly. Cas hated seeing Dean like this. But what could he do about it? "Are you hungry?" He asked Dean, trying to change the subject.
Dean scoffed and shook his head. "Yeah. Like I'm going to eat the cardboard they call food." He scowls at the thought.
"You have to eat something Dean. Or I will be forced to put you on suicide watch, and of that does not work." Cas pauses for a moment, contemplating if he should tell Dean. "You will be placed on feeding tubes."
"Feeding tubes?!" Dean exclaims. "Fine. I'll eat some of the painted cardboard. Don't expect me to enjoy it though." Cas nodded. "I'll be back in a bit." Cas turns on the balls of his feet and walks out of the room.
It was almost an hour until Cas returned with some food for Dean. Dean was laying on the bed, his legs up against the wall. Dean was shirtless and slightly sweaty. "Uh...D-Dean? I have your food here."
Dean sat up, exposing his well toned muscles to Cas even more. "Heya Cas." Dean smiles at him. "Hello Dean." Cas adverts his eyes from Dean and passes him the trey of food. All the breakfast was, toast, eggs, sausage, and orange juice. "You alright buddy?" He asks as he pokes at the eggs. They were like rubber. They bounced. Dean took them and balled them up in his hands. He tossed the egg ball on the floor. Dean wasn't the slightest bit surprised when he saw that it bounced. "See what I mean?" He huffs.
Cas chuckles a little. "To answer your question. I'm fine Dean. Thank you for asking...but uh, are you going to put a shirt on and eat your food instead of playing with it?" He jokes as he takes a seat on a stool.
Dean scoffed and dropped the trey on his night stand. "Well. Clearly, I won't be eating eggs anytime soon." He scoffed as he took his toast. Dean ate toast with a scowl on his face. "Tastes like garbage." Dean complained. He took a sausage the sausage and looked it over before he took a bite. "Damn, why is all of the food horrid tasting?" He tossed the sausage back on the trey and slipped on his shirt.
Cas took a deep breath as he saw Dean with his shirt on. There was a slight blush on his cheeks. "Cas, are you blushing?" Dean smirks and steps closer to Dean. Cas' blush deepened slightly. "No, I am not blushing." He mutters as he looks down at his feet.
Dean smiles and takes Castiel's chin up. "Then tell me why you're so red in the face angel." He says softly. "I-I am n-not blushing Dean." Cas repeats as his blush spreads across his face even more.
Dean leans in a little, his face inches for Cas'. "You sure look like you are Cas." Dean smirks as he looks Cas' face over. Cas was at a complete loss for words. He knew Dean was right. He was blushing. But how could he not? The man he loved for so long was inches from his face. A small smirk was on Deans lips. Cas looked at Deans lips. He wanted so badly to kiss him. He didn't though. He could restrain himself.
"Cas?" Dean questioned with a raised eyebrow. "You've been staring at my lips for nearly five minutes now." He leaned a little closer. Cas could feel his warm breath against his face. "I-I uh...I have to um...g-go now Dean." Cas stuttered out.
Just as Cas was pulling away from Dean. Dean leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. "Dean...W-What was th-that for?" He asked, his face beet red. "I wanted to kiss you." He states with a smirk. "And not to make this a chick flick moment or anything but uh...I was kinda hoping it would bring back your memory." He says as he scratches the back of his neck.
Cas nods slowly and mumbles something incoherently. "I-I need to go Dean, I'll be back shortly." He says quietly. He enjoyed the kiss with Dean. He knew Dean knew that he enjoyed the kiss. "Did you enjoy it Cas?" Dean asks the blue eyed man in front of him. Cas gives a small nod before hurrying out of the room.
