THE SORTING CERAMONY

we stood in the front of the great hall and Professor Dumbledore said we will call your names and when we do come a sit down, we will put the hat on you and you will get sorted into your houses, which are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin.

First Mattheo Riddle, everyone looked at each other and no one was smiling they were surprised Dumbledore let a Riddle go to Hogwarts.
At the Gryffindor table Harry said, "why would a Riddle be here he is Voldemort's son."
" I don't know but they must be bloody stupid." Ron said.

Hermione was shocked and confused.

"Strange." said Ron and Harry.

SLYTHERIN the Sorting hat yelled.

Slytherin table clapped but they were still shocked he was a Riddle so was Draco.

y/n Malfoy she called out. I went up and the hat said "hmm a Malfoy, pureblood, there is a secret behind you, but you don't know it yet, a deep secret. Smart, brave, determined, loyal, sneaky, confidant, and... manipulative.

At this point I was confused by what the hat first said, what secret, I wonder if Draco knows I will ask later.

SLYTHERIN the hat yelled, the Slytherin table clapped loud I went and sat beside Draco and Mattheo.

I whispered to Draco, and asked him if he knew about the secret, he said no, but I could tell he was lying. At this point I was a little mad that he lied so I just told him I believed him.

Draco's POV

I could not tell her I wanted mom to I was scared so I just said no. I was also still shocked Mattheo was a riddle y/n looked like she knew so I asked her, and she said yes.
I was so confused why did she not tell me I was a little mad and just ignored her for a little.

I looked over at Astoria and she was staring at me it felt weird, so I just ignored it, and looked down at the table. Resting my head on my hands.

y/n POV

I told him I did know he was a riddle I did not care if he was mad at me, he lied to me and was bad at it too.

If you lie to me, you should at least make it good.

I looked over at Mattheo and he was smiling at me I got butterflies for some reason, I just smiled back, and paid attention to the ceremony.

SLYTHERIN the hat roared.Astoria was a Slytherin as well.

She came over and sat between me and Draco, I am not going to lie, it felt a little weird, but I did not care I was still mad at him.

After the ceremony I went to the common room.
