Jealousy

Mattheo's Pov
She came up to me and just hugged me for a while I waited and hugged her back, I don't know why but it felt good to hug her it was relaxing. She was asking me if I was ok and what happened. I just told her I was fine and let her come in my room. We sat on the bed and just talked. Out of nowhere I asked if her and Theodore were dating. All she did was laugh a little. "I have known him since I was little, he is my best friend that is all. Wait why do you want to know." She spoke.
"Uhm"
"Is Mattheo Riddle jealous of Theodore. Wow I did not know you could get jealous. Any way I am going to bed see you in the morning night."
"Night.". She was right I was jealous, and I didn't even know I could get jealous. Seeing her just changes me. I went to bed and finally feel asleep.

Y/n POV
Right as he asked me if me and Theo were dating all I could do was laugh, Theo and I have always been best friends, we use to like each other but we got over it. Then I realized how jealous Mattheo was I didn't even think he could get jealous, but I was wrong. I just decided to go to bed after talking to Mattheo.

When I got back to my room, I saw Theo sitting on the couch.
"What's wrong Theo?"
"I couldn't sleep I just kept thinking about my task I don't want to do it." (He is a death eater and knows that I am powerful.) He told me.
We ended up staying up all night playing games until breakfast. We walked out of my dorm and Mattheo kept staring at me.
"It's rude to stare Mattheo."
"It's rude to lie plus I'm not staring." He snapped leaving the great hall.

I was so confused what he meant about me lying. So, I ran after him until we reached the astronomy tower. He did not realize I was following him. He went by the railing and just stared at the ground.
"Go away y/n."
"No. What happened."
"You lied you said you and Theodore weren't dating you guys are just friends, but I know that is a lie I see how you look at each other and so many other things."
I was so confused on what he meant. then he explained on how he saw Theo come out of my room and I explained to him what happened. he felt so embarrassed he just walked out. I decide not to go after him but instead I just went back to breakfast and my classes.
