The tale of a rat and 5'10 white guy

Part 1

It was an average day for Danny Gonzalez. He had just finished recording a video for his goofier and wackier second channel "2 Danny 2 Furious"  This video entailed him once again trying to disguise himself as some made up person, but yet again failing miserably. After wrapping up the video he starts cleaning up and sorting through his equipment. Once he was finished with cleaning up Danny decided to grab a drink and snack from the kitchen and relax in the living room. He heads down to the kitchen and goes straight for the fridge to retrieve his favorite drink,a lemon cello Lacroix.As he grabs the cold,light and fizzy beverage from the fridge and moves towards a cabinet to get a snack. As he reaches for the handle on the cabinet he hears something moving behind him. He spins around in an instant and checks the room to locate where the noise might have come from.After he quickly scans the room,seeing absolutely nothing out of the ordinary he began to think to himself. "It could've been sundae". But then he remembered that sundae was with Laura visiting her parents. He shrugs it off and tries to convince himself that it was all in his head. He makes his way to his living room,some what cautiously to watch some tv,now trying to take his mind off of whatever had just happened. He grabs the remote and turns on the tv looking through the channels trying to find something to watch. Then he catches a glimpse of something swiftly moving near the kitchen out of the corner of his eye . It was so fast he could've missed it if he had blinked. He froze for a moment trying to comprehend what he might've seen. With thoughts racing through his head he slowing stands up to investigate.
