The thunderbolts razed the forest.
The scorching sun glint on soldier's swords.
The wind like a gasping messenger announced;
And forth came the terrifying tyrant, under a canopy of thick grown grass palms.
In fear we despaired flowers, nevertheless held banquets to the grim king.
Mad as fury, his eyes grew red.
Thus came the blades of conquest .
Mankind slashed by cold swords for his wrath
We bled bright, crying in agony as we fell.
And the tide rip swept the lifeless.
But not our blood, indelible it stuck on the ground, like gums on tree trunks.

Good morning!
Good afternoon!
Good evening!
To everyone at every part of the world.

This right here was a masterpiece made out of a collaboration with a poet. The idea was to write a piece of art together by writing it line by line, but I totally didn't get the memo and I wrote a whole verse and sent to her.

What a boomer when I realized my mistake 😅😅😅 yeahhh, but either way, it was a blessing in disguise because this turned out to be one of my favorite writings.

What do you guys think? I await your opinions in the comment sections.
