"Lucida!"

Lucida's eyes flew open and head jerked forward. She looked around, seeing the inside of a car, a well lit road in front of the car. A cold sweat coated her forehead and back. Swallowing down the sheer terror of the dreams she'd woken up from, Lucida looked to Aizawa, who was driving.

"Good, you're awake."

"Haha, yeah.." Lucida laughed awkwardly and yawned. She wasn't in the Underground. She was in the Superhuman society of Japan, a high school student.

"What were you dreaming about?" The black haired man asked, his eyes focused on the road ahead of them.

"Nothing in particular."

"Nothing in particular?"

"Yep."

"'Nothing in particular' doesn't make a reasonable person start shaking in their sleep. It doesn't make them shed tears in their sleep. Nothing in particular doesn't make someone act like they've been through hell."

"..."

"Well?"

"Welp, you caught me. It was just a bad dream, nothing more."

Aizawa gave an unconvinced hum as a response and the car moved on in silence.

Eventually they reached Aizawa's home, and by this point the sun was in its late stages of setting. An idea struck Lucida as they walked in.

"Hey, Aizawa, do you have any ingredients for cooking?"

"No, not much. Why?"

"I'm gonna go get some stuff if that's okay."

"Yeah, that's fine. I'll give you some money."

Aizawa handed Lucida some money and she left once again to go shopping. She put her earbuds in and music on her phone as she walked.

"What's a young girl doing living with that Aizawa?" Lucida overheard someone say as she walked through the apartment building.

"Seriously, I didn't think the man was into anorexic girls."

"Maybe she's a prostitute or something."

Lucida turned around and stared at the two people who'd been talking.

"Shit, I think she heard us."

"Please stop bitching about something you know nothing about." She said calmly, though her voice was dark and scary.

"Ah, we weren't bitching! We were just, uh-"

"Yeah, yeah, you're just covering the fact you're poor enough to live with that coffee addict."

"...." Lucida stared at the pair with a deadpan expression.

"Uhhh maybe we shouldn't have been talking-"

"No words? Ha, she really is a low level slu-"

A skeletal hand clasped itself over the person's mouth, shutting them up.

"Don't push your luck. Keep your nose out of things that don't concern you." Lucida said in a dark voice, glaring at the pair before walking off and de-summoning the hand.

"What a bitch." The person said once Lucida was gone.

Lucida walked around the city for a while, taking in her surroundings as she looked for a food shop.

"Hey look, it's Gaster!" A somewhat familiar high pitched voice called out. Looking toward the source, Lucida saw a floating t shirt and shorts accompanied by a girl with pink hair and skin.

"It is in fact me!" Lucida said as she walked over to the pair. She recognised the floating clothes as Hagakure, the invisible girl, and pinkie as Ashido, the girl who complained about not getting to fight her.

"Hiii, Gaster! I'm Mina Ashido! You were so super cool yesterday!!" She said energetically, clenching her hands into fists and smiling brightly.

"Haha, thanks Ashido. Please, call me Lucida though."

"Huh? Okay!"

"So what brings you here, Lucida?" Hagakure asked.

"Just picking up some cooking ingredients and getting to know the area."

"Huh? You not from here or something?" Ashido asked, her head tilted to one side.

"Yep." Lucida responded, internally trying to think of a cover up story if they asked any more questions.

"Woahhh, that's so cool!!"

"So what are you gonna be making?" Hagakure asked.

"Le spaghet." Lucida responded, putting on a terrible French accent.

"Uh... isn't spaghetti an Italian dish...?" Hagakure deadpanned.

"And I'm a clown, your point?"

Ashido burst out in laughter. "You're really funny, Lucida!"

"Thank you, pinky-do!"

"Pinky-do?"

"Pinky-do. You."

"Pffft--!" Ashido burst out in another burst of laughter, doubling over.

"Aanyways, I'm gonna get going now. See you two at school!" Lucida walked off, waving to the girls with a smile.

"Seeeee ya!"

"See you at school!"

And so, Lucida wandered around the area in search of a food shop. Though many people stared at her because of her unique appearance, even making audible comments. This didn't bother the pale girl.

"Who was that person? Some freak, if you ask me..."

"They some kinda villain? Should... we call a hero?"

"Sheesh, what IS that thing?"

...

None of those things were unfamiliar things for Lucida to hear. She didn't even care as she walked on.

"I'm back!" Lucida called out as she teleported back into Aizawa's house.

"Welcome back!" Aizawa shouted back from another room.

Lucida dumped the bag of ingredients on the kitchen counter, before washing her hands and beginning cooking the dish.

Not very long after, she had finished cooking and dished the spaghetti bolognese. She ate it with Aizawa before doing some shit until she fell asleep again.

(Yeah the ending was pretty rushed but I completely forgot about this story lmao. Anyway, sorry for the kind of filler chapter and rushed ending but I hope you enjoyed. See you in the next chapter
